Summary

Fitting into the Old World isn't going very well for Boulder boundary witch Allison "Lex" Luther: she may have earned a place in a vampire's service, but now it seems as if every supernatural creature in town has found a reason to hate her. And when Lex and her partner are assigned to investigate the suspicious disappearance of two vampires during the night of the full moon, they find themselves with more questions than answers.

Was it murder...or mutiny?

The crusade for answers will lead Lex all over the Colorado Old World, from a prison cell for a broken werewolf to a haunted Denver brothel. And when Lex determines the responsible party, the hunt is just beginning: something has been awakened in Boulder, something as old and powerful as it is terrifying. Only the woman with death in her blood can stop what's coming.

interested & Captivated

I really enjoyed both these books.
The story was enjoyable all the way through and I can not
wait until the next one to come out.

You can not beat a bit of woman power, a little bit of everything, romance, fighting, friendship. with not too much and over the top. and not to much recapping over last book, which can be frustrating when you have read one and how to keep being told about what happened previously.
Well done
Bring on the next one x

Picked right up from the first book, brilliant

This story picks up right where the first finished and it just keeps on going at a pace. I loved it! Getting to know the characters more, the relationships that they are building and how Lex is finding out about her powers. The large overall story arc that is slowly being revealed. Brilliant stuff.

Kate Rudd is again a great narrator, and being the second book I was straight in knowing who was who without needing their names mentioned. Fabulous narrator.

What made the experience of listening to Boundary Lines the most enjoyable?

I love that you connect better with every character

What other book might you compare Boundary Lines to, and why?

Definitely similar to Patricia Brigg. So if you enjoy this definitely look into Mercy Thompson workd

What about Kate Rudd’s performance did you like?

Really enjoyed this book and the narrator

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

All of it. Especially that Lex is completely all about her niece Charlie and keeping her safe

Loved It!!!

This is a great new series and I can't wait for the next one. Melissa Olson created a believable world with interesting characters. The plot is full of twists and turns and moves at a fast pace. I can't wait until the next book is released.

So Much Better!!!

What did you like about this audiobook?

Overall I really enjoyed this book.

It like the rest of Mrs. Olson's work it is well paced, has great characters, rich world building, and over all is unique is a genre were things tend to bleed together.

The first book was good but it still left me with a "that could have been better" feeling. This one on the other hand I can say I enjoyed as much as the Scarlett series.

That being said, Mrs. Olson hit one of my bigger pet-peeves as she wrote Lex's trip to L.A. (were the Scarlett series takes place) in a side story. Had I not already read this story on Kindle Unlimited I would be fairly P.O.ed but Boundary Lines was good enough to make up for this. So those of you that are hoping to see the Lex and Scarlett team-up than this is not the book for you.

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?

No but it did remind me why I love urban fantasy.

What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?

There are two thing I found wrong with Kate Rudd performance

One: She can be a little to very melodramatic, most of these moments are when Lex is distressed and make Lex sound more distressed than she might other wise.

Two: Her accent can be distracting naming in one character who is supposed to have a British accent sounding like she's from the bronx.

Do you have any additional comments?

I have say I really enjoyed this book.

I said in my review of Boundary Crossed that Lex while just as developed was not as enjoyable as Scarlett.mainly because of she lacks the friends that show her more light-hearted side and I stand by that.

In Boundary Lines she has friends like Simon, Lily, Quinn and oddly enough (for me anyway) Maven. Thus I saw her more relaxed and at times wise@$$ side that made the book so much more enjoyable.

I can honestly and happily say if are a fan of urban fantasy this would an awesome choice to add to your library.

Great 2nd Book in Series

Really enjoyed this 2nd book in this series. Loved the story & the growth of the characters. This story definitely has some great unexpected twist & turns. Also enjoyed getting to see more of Sashi from Bloodsick.

Perhaps a different narrator?

I liked the story but I don't really like the narrator for this story. The main character is from Colorado, but the narrator keeps making the characters sound like they're from the bronx.
