Summary
Brought to you by Penguin.
Have you ever been on a disastrous date and vowed never to use apps again?
Are you blaming yourself for the things going wrong in your love life?
Do you always seem to become attached to people who treat you badly?
The sad truth is that when it comes to modern dating, there are a whole host of challenges and hurdles to overcome. From ghosting and negging to gaslighting and abuse, this book teaches you what to look out for, to make sure that you're not accidentally dating men with toxic traits who secretly hate women, or who just want to have sex and run.
It will empower you to use your voice and walk away if you spot warning signs in relationships, by highlighting the red flags and the types of fuckboy that you might run into when dating, as well as the green flags and signs that indicate a healthy partnership.
This is not a dating book that promises to find you a person to love; instead, it will help you spot the troublesome ones before it is too late. It will help you to recognise that you possess spectacular buff ting energy and that it's perfectly possible to be contentedly single.
Most importantly, this audiobook will give you the power to block, delete and move on with living your best life.
PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

I'm not a man hater but ........
totally and utterly depressing. I would not suggest buying this book . Not sure how it has such good reviews .
Did you know that 80 percent of women only wash their Fanny's every few days ? In this book you will learn how infrequent men wash their knackers 😆😆

Pretty cr*p
I thought I would be the target audience for this book, being a similar age, and a single Londoner trying to make the best of dating apps. My only real takeaway from the book was where does this woman find all these ‘f*ckboys’ ‘roadmen’ and ‘weed dealers’?!?!?! Very of the social media age though, all content that would be rewarded by social media algorithms. I cringed my way through her swearing and terms like ‘spectacular buff ting’. To me she sounds like an awkward cultural appropriator, and fetishises black / mixed race men. Good idea on her part to stay anonymous.

Modern day dating bible!!!!
Have been following Lalaletmexplain on Insta for a while now. She is some sort of Guru when it comes to dating and tells things exactly as they are. Her no nonsense look at dating in the modern world is thought provoking, funny but most of all real. I listened to this book in one hit (apart from when I had to recharge the EarPods). Everything she talks about I have experienced or know someone that has experienced. She says out loud what your friends should be telling you….. the stuff in the back of your mind that you know isn’t right but you need confirmation of.
Dating in the modern world is tough. Lala is like having a little best friend sitting on your shoulder. When I’m talking to new guys I can now sit and think what would Lala do. Love it!

Absolute gold dust
Couldn’t recommend this creator (@lalaletmeexplain) or this book enough. She is always bang on with advice, hard truths and raising awareness. A no-bulls*it approach to dating and adulthood as a woman - which I’m sure everyone needs sometimes. Level up with Lala!

Absolutely worth a listen!
Loved this audio book. Lala is hilarious while giving very sound advice around not just the minefield that is dating, but also on self love and getting yourself to a good place first.

One of the best books I’ve listened to!
I’m married now but it took me 36 lonnngggg years of all of these fuck boys in different skins, my life was at risk several times (seriously) and a whole lot of reflection and self awareness to get to a point where I can have a SAFE healthy relationship with a slightly annoying but lovable man. I wish I had this book in my 20s & 30s honestly! It’s ace and I’ll be recommending to anyone who cares to listen to me. Thanks lala keep up the good work 💘
