Summary
Stories... They are the building blocks of our lives. They are our memories. They are how we come to know our history. They are our escapism and entertainment. Some fact, some fiction, and some are a clever little mix.
These 31 stories are fiction. Short and scary. Delivered to you in small, terrifying bursts, much the way you’d experience each individual room in a haunted-house attraction. They were specifically written to be enjoyed by both the not-too-young and old alike. Inside, you’ll find horror, drama, even a few laughs - and zombies. Zombies by the ton. Gnawing, gnashing, stumbling, and staring... Right. At. You. Waiting…for a bite-sized offering.

Mostly terrible!
I know these stories are YA, but most are pretty awful - the sort of thing kids would write. I stopped listening after story number 11, which was both terrible and full of offensive racist references with weird attempts at doing ‘cannibal’ accents.
The few that were interesting- like the one in the bunker, the one about the bus driver and story number 10, (all of which were well-narrated), were too short to be satisfying. The others were mostly ridiculous and poorly written and narrated.
These stories mostly seem to have been written for the two children named in the introduction, (which is really sweet), but I am not sure they were suitable for a wider audience.

Good Value
Made for young listeners, not much in form of gore. Most of the stories let you use your imagination.
Made for a good cause.

Written and Produced Free, for Two Children
Text from Producer:
BITE SIZE OFFERINGS is an anthology of tales of the Zombie Apocalypse by multiple authors and narrators to help two lovely siblings with down syndrome, Emallee and Mason, with their ongoing medical expenses. Emallee is chronically ill with heart problems and has had 2 open heart surgeries and a hysterectomy and Mason, Craniofacial surgery. Their mother, Mysti Holsinger-Stitt is a single mom and has been raising her children since their dad left when Emalee was 2 and Mason was an infant.
The audio book is a great collection of stories by 38 Thriller/Horror authors and proceeds go to help these kids. The Producer waived all fees, as did all the writers and narrators. So all proceeds of this audiobook will go to benefit Emallee and Mason.
EDIT : I'm just a reader who paid for this book and I have no affiliation to anyone involved with this project. I just think it's awesome and wanted to share.

Great for children
Not scary at all ..but this so great for kids and tweens getting into the Genre .A nice vanilla take with little minuets about Zom Poc.Throw physics and most of the stuff you’ve read aside little kids in jammies are killing zombies with lunch boxes .If you read TWD,Brian Keene the rising or Kieth C Blackmore mountain man series you might be frustrated by this more “slice of life . I initially struggled with some of the soccer mommy zone ..aww cutesy precocious scamp stuff veiled in a zombie trek but in such a bleak year it’s nice to have some light hearted ghoulish story telling.we need a beacon of kindness even In The undead .

The stories were great but
the sound recording was unbearable. Even a pop screen of the cheapest variety helps so much. The final straw was when the phrase "slicked with sweat and so much filth" was repeated in a couple of sentences, just read that out loud.
Anyways I'm sorry I'm acting an ass but that seriously was awful and I'm not usually like that. Look at the books I've read and gladly give 5 or 4 stars. Effort means everything. In all honesty I feel the publishing houses are more to blame than the actual author because as I said the stories were really good. Just seems like someone was in too big a hurry to produce the audio.

A great listen alone or with kids.
For a kids book, even I enjoyed it. Well written stories and for a great cause! The authors did a wonderful job telling their own versions of a genre saturated usually in gore. It was also extremely refreshing to hear stories that didn’t rely on the overly macho hero cliché. Well done! I definitely recommend gifting to older kids or teenagers that love a good zombie story!

This book isn’t good. Sorry.
I feel bad saying it’s bad because it was written for two kids with Down syndrome, but oh my good this book was bad. It was written by multiple authors but it felt like a giant run on blob. They weren’t very original or creative. The writing was mediocre. I only found like 2 of 30+ stories enjoyable. They were just so bloody boring. Yes, they turned one of the most unique and interesting and wild subjects BORING. I could barely finish this tbh.

Worst narration I’ve ever heard
They absolutely ruin the stories. Whether the stories are good or not, i tried to listen but I couldn’t discern through the drab and misplaced emphasis of these poor narrators
