Summary
Awakened after millions of years of imprisonment, a prehistoric alien threat has been freed, and is now wreaking havoc on the Earth. Becoming more powerful by draining electricity all over the planet, the earth is plunged into darkness, making humanity more vulnerable than ever.
Follow several groups of people on the first night of their journey in this apocalyptic adventure. Little do they know that this is just the beginning. Something more sinister is about to emerge, changing life as they know it.

Fantastic start to a gripping story
Absolutely loved this story it is immersing and a very diverse thriller/horror story gives elderich vibes or clover field but it holds it's own identity thankfully there's more books in the series to dig into

A page turner.

It's such a great book. A very interesting permise with great characters. A perfect combination of depth and detailing makes this book stand out. I'm very much looking forward to listening to more in this series.

I enjoyed the narration of Julie Branc
A prehistoric alien that is has been imprisoned for a million years is now free and causing havoc. It drains the electricity and makes it more powerful. As it drains more electricity, the earth is plunged into darkness making humanity more vulnerable than ever.

Fast paced and intriguing introduction to a series
This is a very promising first installment to a series with very well executed and perfectly paced set pieces, and an intriguing species as the protagonists. The narration is perfectly paced and infectious and leaves you fervently wanting more at the installment's conclusion.

Prehistoric earth awakens.
An incredible imagination is in play here.
The author M. A. Hollstein done such an amazing job in the introduction of each of the characters in this story, making them feel like your neighbors or any of the people which you meet or see day by day.
The question we are left with is if the whole thing was planned in wait for enough cattle / humans to populate the earth before the awakening or was it the ice age which caused the creatures to sleep under the ice till now as the glaciers are melting because of again , human interference.
Or is there an unexpected
twist waiting to surprise us
ALL.
Beautiful Introduction to a series which one can only hope that it’s going to be as amazing continuation to this short beginning.
Julie Branc beautifully narrates each of the characters in this creation.
