When Darkness Falls

Awakened after millions of years of imprisonment, a prehistoric alien threat has been freed, and is now wreaking havoc on the Earth. Becoming more powerful by draining electricity all over the planet, the earth is plunged into darkness, making humanity more vulnerable than ever.

Since the appearance of the alien creatures, the world has drastically changed. Electricity still has not been restored, and people are panicking. The creatures that hadn’t fled the area to chase the moon are hiding in the shadows while guarding their offspring. Infected people are growing ill and morphing into something sinister. Losing their humanity, their only instinct is the primal need to feed their insatiable hunger. Follow our survivors as they navigate the second day of this strange and dangerous new world.

Trying to navigate this scary new world, the survivors have a lot to learn about their enemy. Overnight, the alien infection has spread through the population at an alarming rate. There are many unanswered questions regarding the infected. Are they dead or alive? Are they zombies? Or are they aliens? Whatever they are, they’re no longer human.

As the keeper, Cheryl knows she’s important. She just doesn’t realize how important. She learns that her ancient bloodline somehow ties her to the aliens. With the arrival of the alien ship, the war began. Per Cheryl, who is a keeper, the aliens’ goal is to stop the creatures from spreading to other worlds by annihilating them. Unfortunately, the only way to do that is to also exterminate humans since many are infected which allows the creatures to live in human form.
