Amazing!

I honestly did not know of Ayurveda. Thank you for opening my eyes to this holistic approach. This is something that anyone who is trying for, had a baby, or knows someone who is, needs to hear. The information in this book will teach you how to take care of your well-being during pregnancy and post-recovery. A beautiful listen. I would highly recommend!

Great and clear information!

The book all pregnant women need in their lives!. I loved the helpful information the writer provides, it is clear and well explained. The narrator's voice is nice to hear. Highly recommend it!

Very Helpful and Practical!

This book contains an abundance of useful information. I specifically enjoyed the suggestions of herbs and food that can help women in various stages of pregnancy and recovery. I'm going to take the advice and try cardamon for mucus in the body.
I now understand my imbalances better and strongly suggest this book as a must-read for anyone trying to conceive, pregnant or postpartum.

Very helpful audiobook

When traditional medicines do not work I always find help in Ayurvedic approach to health. Pregnancy is not exception and I loved that I found this audiobook. I learned a lot: from how to increase your chances of conception to how to get you back on your feet in no time.

Great way to recover from pregnancy

This is a great book that aims to introduce Ayurveda in order to keep your pregnancy in check and help with the post-recovery of pregnancy. The chapters have been structured in step by step to ensure they are easy to follow and simple.

The mind, body and soul connected

I got this audiobook as my friend is expecting her first child in the new year. It was really interesting to understand the principles of ancient knowledge, and how food and herbs could have such an effect on the body. There was a lot of new information to absort, so it certainly requires listening to multiple times. I think my friend will find the audiobook useful as she progresses through her pregnancy.

Loved the health-focused approach.

What an interesting and informative take on how to optimize one’s recovery after pregnancy using a wholistic approach. Not only that, but this guide also outlines how to incorporate the benefits of an Ayurvedic diet into producing a healthy baby during pregnancy. I picked this audiobook up for my daughter who found it to be bang on in providing actionable advice. She’s excited about the prospects of bringing a healthy baby into the world and is looking forward to seeing her pregnancy come to term. Lots of great little tips. Highly recommended listen.

excellent information

lots of real good information on the ayurveda pregnancy. from what foods to eat when pregnant,menstrual care , how to increase your fertility , diet supplements, labour and childbirth and a whole lot more. must listen if you're pregnant or trying to get pregnant as there is a host of valuable information in this book

Ancient Wisdom Brought To Life ➕

I got this book for my wife as I had heard about Ayurveda. She absolutely loved it. She started taking down notes and also kept listening to the chapters a few time to let the message sink in. Ayurveda is being practiced in India for the past 5000 years. The meaning of Ayurveda is 'Knowledge of Life', and it is said that it takes more than a lifetime to study it fully. However, the author Jill C Blake has given us detailed information of what is required to be known and what is relevant for pregnancy health and postpartum recovery. What I found after listening to this book is that Ayurveda is not a temporary fix, but it fixes the 'whole' problem. It sets the whole body right. Which is fantastic. The narration of Gill Mills is excellent. I would highly recommend this book.
