shallow; clichéd; focused on lonely singles dating

as an avoidant in a long-term relationship, I related to some bits, but found little of value overall

Validated my Feelings

My therapist recommended this book as I was going through a divorce and it's opened my world. What I listen has validated feelings that I couldn't articulate and brought me peace. This book not only applies to romantic relationships but friends and work as well.

A very important book.

The Avoidant Attachment audiobook is an important interactive workbook on attachment theory. In all my years of practice as a therapist I can't remember encountering any other books on attachment theory with the wonderful interactive style of a audiobook.

Didn’t know what to expect but it was so great!

The narrator did such a wonderful job, and the entire audiobook really spoke to me. As I said in the title, I didn’t know exactly what to expect but once the audiobook was over, I had so much more of a clear and enjoyable picture of attachment.

Get this audiobook. You won’t regret it!

Very Helpful

Do you find yourself pulling away in new relationships, rather than jumping in or being open to new experiences? I did. However, I didn't always realize it. This book helped me realize that my anxiety and fear was really just part of the my brain's way of avoiding new attachments. I recommend this for anyone, whether you are in a new relationship, an old one, or hoping to find one in the future. This book will help give you the boost to embrace the new experience.

Robotic narration

At least this book was short because I didn’t have to listen to the robotic narration for that long. I got a couple pearls of wisdom out of it that I will try. Not sure it was worth a credit

So On Point!

For people living with this unfortunate struggle, it is an everyday battle and can lead to devastating consequences too. I choose this book to gift to my co-worker and friend after carefully going through a few similar ones. I appreciate this writer's wording and how the content is stacked to teach all you need to know about this issue. The tips, information, and real-life scenarios are practical, clear, and well-researched. I am blown away at how much I learned and I will be implementing some tops as well. My co-worker will definitely benefit greatly. Thanks for such a great contribution to humanity!

Your relationship can change today.

Attachment theory is a framework that explains how human beings form and maintain close relationships with others. It identifies three primary attachment styles: secure, anxious, and avoidant. People with a secure attachment style can form close, trusting relationships with others. They feel comfortable being emotionally intimate and are not afraid of Dependency No More commitment. People with an anxious attachment style tend to be clingy and needy in relationships. They crave intimacy but are also afraid of being rejected or abandoned. People with an avoidant attachment style tend to be distrustful of others and reluctant to get too close. They often view intimacy as a sign of weakness and may have difficulty forming close relationships. The avoidant attachment style is the most harmful to relationships because it prevents people from developing the trust and intimacy that are necessary for a healthy, lasting connection. If you want to improve your relationships, it is important to understand your own attachment style and learn how to overcome any unhealthy patterns. Taha Zaid's book, Attachment No More, is a great resource for learning more about attachment theory and how to use it to improve your relationships.
