Summary

Chosen as the yearly sacrifice, Athalie’s world crumbles into a devastating reality, but she knows her death will bring prosperity to her country and family. Enjoyed

I really enjoyed the narration of Katrina Michaels

The book is full of action , adventure , drama and also romance and how losing a loved one isn't always the end.

Athalie is 17, she is engaged to be married and her life seems happy. However every year her town sacrifices a virgin to the God's so that there town in blessed and this year Athalie is chosen. The adventure beginnings .
