The characters developed throughout; they weren't objectionable and self asorbed as they often are in these kind of rom coms.

Lasted only 1hr 45mins when supercilious Farm/Ranch owner makes sweeping judgement on down on her luck Meredith. At their first meeting he and his staff are wearing uniforms, but when agreeing to employ her he allocates her to a broken down "shack in the woods" complete with rats and mice, and expects her to dress in caste offs - it's just silly. In 2020 no employer would treat an employee in that way unless they liked litigation.

Love these narrators, and have enjoyed them paired up in previous books, but even they couldn't save this tale.
