Excellent
I have read a number of books on argument. This one is insightful and thorough. The only criticism I have is that I would have listened to more detail in places, but that didn’t seem to warrant a reduction in stars!

A Must Read To Be A Perfect Debater.
Great book full of information you will need to make your liberal friends or family fold as their ideology falls apart. A must read for everyone who has a few dingbats in their family, or circle of friends. Scott Lovell knows his stuff!

Excellent No-Nonsense Guide to Making Coherent written and Oral Argument
This is an excellent no-nonsense guide that is perfect for busy professionals or students who want to learn for the first time, or brush-up on the basics of logic, debate and argument. This book includes useful instruction on both written and oral argument, and explanations of common logical fallacies and tips on how to spot and avoid them.
The one downside is that it seemed like the book was read by a text-to-speech program, and it’s a bit off-putting at first. I got used to it after a few minutes and it ceased to bother me.
Overall, I found this book to be an excellent refresher for a busy lawyer like me.

Amazing book on hard topic.
The book itself is incredible. I've bought several copies for friends and family. I purchased used and the pages were obnoxiously folded half way down the page throughout, not great, but it does the job.

Marvelous Book to learn Argument Structure.
It is one of the best self help books I have ever read. At first when seeing the title and knowing it was written by a lawyer, I thought, wait minute, what would a lawyer know about self help for just the average person and that it would be written in an easy way.

appears to be just an intro for another book
Unfortunately this was very basic information that a 6th grader would already know. Does not discuss how to assess evidence, present or formulate an argument or a review of the logical fallacies.

Surprisingly entertaining
Practical, intro level yet broad discussion which is just what I wanted. Humorous writing and deadpan delivery - funny and piercing examples.

Great Information for All Levels of Learning
This was a great Logic 101 refresher for me and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to learn about this topic. The only irritating thing about it is the narrator enunciates every syllable of every word very slowly. This made it very tough to listen all the way through, but I'm glad I made myself do it.
