A very basic book
A reasonable good starter book but very basic.
If you want a quick guide this is it but I doubt this alone will satisfy anybody completely.

just not good at all.
no way those therapy lessons are real examples. all too convenient. anyone could have written this. just such a waste of time and money. nothing helpful. people have real struggles with anger, I dont need a stupid example of a man getting furious because his wife bought a watch. I have real issues here. I thought maybe it was written in 1950 when not much was known about anger but actually its written in 2016. what???

Not useful for me personally
It might be for men in general but it definitely didn't help me. Narrator was fine but content didn't provide anything useful for me.

A must read for anyone who has lashed out verbally or physically against someone they love!
This book does an excellent job of breaking down the science behind anger and why men tend to react a certain way when they get angry. It explains that anger is a normal emotion and it’s ok to be angry, but it’s not ok to react in a manner that is hurtful to another human being. It first teaches you to understand why we get angry, then gives you tools on how to control your anger, and more importantly how to control your reaction to anger when it happens.
You will not eradicate your anger because anger is something that will continue to happen and sometimes needs to happen(listen to the book and you will know why). By listening to this Audible, you will learn how to reduce the situations that make you angry and control the way you react when you get angry.
I will continue to seek more knowledge about controlling my anger and how I react to it, but this book was an excellent find as my first read. If you’re reading this, you’re obviously looking for help for yourself or someone you love. Do yourself a huge favor and listen to or recommend this Audible.
