Summary
Ancient Paganism explores the false religion of the ancient pre-flood world and its spread after Noah's Flood into the Gentile nations. Quotes from the ancient church fathers, rabbis, and the Talmud detail the activities and beliefs of both Canaanite and New Testament era sorcery.
This audiobook explores how, according to biblical prophecy, this same sorcery will return before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ to Earth. These religious beliefs and practices will invade the end time church and become the basis for the religion of the Antichrist. Wicca, Druidism, Halloween, Yule, meditation, and occultic tools are discussed at length. This audiobook is brought to you by Biblefacts Ministries, Biblefacts.org

Title is very Misleading!
This is not a research/reference book on ancient Paganism. This is a book for the church-going fanatical literalist: "My God is better than your gods". A mixture of decent research and bitter juvenile opinion. A sorry attempt at comparative religion, but with heavy emphasis on the 'compare'. What a shame...

very disappointed by the title of this book
you would think by the title of this book that I was about paganism ancient paganism it turns out it's more about Christianity and how would the bunks other religions if you information about other religions but talks about other ancient religions as false religious I wanted to learn about paganism not Christianity and how it was better than the rest or something to the extent of it's right and everything else is wrong very unhappy shut it off in the 13th chapter

Not impressed
This book is not Pro Paganism. I struggled to get through it. I tried to stay open minded but In my opinion this book is trying to convince us that Paganism is an abomination.

Excellent research.
After reading the other review I thought it only fair to address their criticism from the perspective of someone who wasn't disappointed in the book as a result of making assumptions based solely on the title. If they had taken even a little bit of time to read it, the description of the books contents would have been 100% straightforward and not misleading whatsoever.
Ken is one of my favorite Christian scholars because he's thorough in both his research and his commentary of the same. So if you're interested in learning more about topics relating to end time prophecy and the dead sea scrolls, you will find his books both interesting and educational.

Once you get over The scary looking cover..
Loved the in-depth breakdown information and references so I can do self studies later on.
This book opened my eyes to ideas and theories, and a pleather of references to traditions and holidays I never knew the associated origins linked to paganism, sorcery and witchcraft.

Very Detailed, Richly Researched
Narrator did a mostly good job, until he got to Desert Mystics/Gnostics chapter towards the end. At that point, he becomes very rushed, creating run-on sentence that can provide some confusion as to what statements are quotes vs those of the Author's.
Story itself is very detailed, richly researched and clearly utilizing Genesis as the Truth that it is. I'll be passing this on to those near and dear to me.

Aggravating
Nicely narrated and very informative.
Equally biased. Every chapter opens another opportunity for the writer to take a strike at people of other/older world religions. After making it to the endorsements chapter, it's easy to see why. Anything that mentions Joel Osteen is definitely gonna be dealing some low blows to non-christian folk.
