About this listen
The always-outspoken hard rock vocalist Corey Taylor begins America 51 with a reflection on what his itinerant youth and frequent worldwide travels with his multiplatinum bands Slipknot and Stone Sour have taught him about what it means to be an American in an increasingly unstable world. He examines the way America sees itself, specifically with regard to the propaganda surrounding America's origins (like a heavy-metal Howard Zinn) while also celebrating the quirks and behavior that make a true-blue American.
Balancing humor, outrage, and disbelief, Taylor examines the rotting core of America, evaluating everything from politics and race relations to family and "man buns". By continuing the wave of moral outrage begun in You're Making Me Hate You, Taylor skewers contemporary America in his own signature style.

Such a fantastic listen! Love it!
This was such a great listen I enjoyed it from Start to finish. I have been a fan of corey for a long I have listened to his last book "A funny this happened on the way to heaven. I enjoy the previous book so I know I would love this one just as much. I. Know it sounds weird but I pretty much to 100% what he said and what he believes in. It was very entertaining some bits I couldn't stop laughing but there were bits I listened carefully on what the serious parts. Again it was brilliant, I loved it I am looking forward to what else he does in the near future. Cheers Taylor you are a legend.

Captivating From Start To Finish
Love Corey's outlook on life and politics.
There are many of us who don't blindly follow one ideal and Corey reasons in this great read why he feels the way he does giving us different answers and new questions and points of view about modern politics in not only the USA but most of the world.
Read it, doesn't matter which political or social back ground you are from he will open your mind to other ways of looking at the struggle wether you like it or not and with good old fashioned humour.

CT's intellectual depth and honesty is amazing!
Corey Taylor For President! Why not? At least he would do as he says. And woe to those that get in his way. Down with the Cheeto!

Fantastic words told only how Corey could!
Great book, my first audible experience could only have come from Captain F*ckmouth himself! Glad I opted to go for it and well worth the read/listen!
More Corey needed and I know it takes alot to record it but hearing the man retell the words makes the car journeys, showers and quite evenings listening to it even better! Keep it up CMFT!!

Corey Taylor being CMFT. If you like any of his other tomes then you will love this. Brutal honesty mixed with a great sense of humour.

Corey at his sarcastic and brutal best
A unabashed personal view of America and Americans and life with the ‘cheeto’. You’ll understand when you listen. If your not a CMFT fan then you might not like this as much as some others do, but I for one loved it.

Pointless
Someone making a point about the most generic popular opinions. So simplistic like an high-school assignment
