About this listen
The Undead Uprising is still in progress. It all started when my mother vanished after a botched séance. After that, the undead rose from their graves and I was ‘babenapped’ by a vampire.
Kidnapped… babenapped… you get it.
As my Grand-mere Delphine would say, it has been a day!
So now I’m stuck inside this fangy freak’s mind-numbing hive, and I just know Professor Batavian and his Monster Squad—the city’s supernatural trackers—are scouring the city in search of me. I’d love to see them again, but I just can’t seem to remember to leave.
The light orbs flicker, the monsters throb, and the dead are shambling faster than drunks during Mardi Gras.

Brilliant adaptation
This is the second book in the Midnight Arcanum Academy seires and picks up where book one finished. Evie (Evangeline) Midnight has been kidnapped by vampires and the monster squad (her boyfreinds) are now looking for her. This story has plenty of twists and turns to hold your attention. A great listen. Excellent narration. I am off to read the next book.

Fantastic
Wow, this book has such an amazing amount of suspense and is certainly one that will ensure that you will not be putting it down anytime soon. This one had me thinking it had to go one way but then it would turn around and the twists would be so good but also not what I expected.
The pacing was fantastic and it was a really good choice on the narration as they gave so much more to the story. All around an amazing story and telling.
