Fun and lighthearted
I enjoy this, it was fun and lighthearted with all the usual fun fantasy world elements. Has abit of spice too!

Annoying and Disappointing
I really struggled with this book. It has everything I love, witches, werewolves and vampires. Unfortunately Stephanie Rose seems so intent with her bad Mae West impression that she pauses when she shouldn't and doesn't when she should. Troy Duran on the other hand is a pleasure to listen to, it was only due to him that I kept listening. I found the erotica off-putting I have read/listened to so many great books over the years that don't need to use excessive sex scenes to sell/pad out a story. I enjoyed the story but won't be listening to the next two books. The two stars are for Troy Duran's narrative only

Aw yuck!
I was hoping for a lighthearted, fun fantasy story and why not a bit of spice but the smutty, rushed sex just kills the fun - couldn’t even find it sexy. I tried, made it to 1h25 but just couldn’t continue... I may have given up too early but it was to cringe-inducing. Not for me but if you like the wham, bam thank you stuff, give it a go.
