About this listen
Seasons greetings and alien abductions!
Khephren: There’s no way in Helgar's Nebula I’m marrying the candidate my parents have chosen for me. I don’t want to be the house-husband of some stoic warrior who only cares about training all day. Boring! Thankfully, I’ve learned a thing or two from all those rom-com human movies I’ve illegally downloaded off the intergalactic web. No one will see it coming when I pull a runaway groom maneuver on them!
Once I make my escape, I can go on the solo honeymoon of my dreams—to planet Earth. It’s almost that wondrous time of year when they celebrate their holiday known as “Christmas.” Human Hallmark movies make it seem so magical. I want to experience it for myself! Now, I just need to find a human who can make my wish come true and help me have an authentic holly jolly time…
Sasha: Scrooge was right when he said “bah humbug” to Christmas. This time of year sucks balls, and not the fun kind. I’ve just lost my crappy part-time job and I’m slowly sinking under a sea of student loan debt and crushed dreams.
Just when I think my life couldn’t possibly get any worse, my cat and I are abducted by an alien who wants me to help him experience a "real human Christmas" on his ship. WTF? Clearly he’s chosen the worst possible candidate for the job.
But there’s something about Khephren’s enthusiasm and eternal optimism that starts to melt even my grumpy, cynical heart. Heck, I even agree to be his fake fiancé to get his parents off his back! I don’t know what’s happening to me, but Khephren’s charm is making me feel things I never have before. And those bright pink tentacles of his are strangely fascinating. I can’t help but wonder what all they can do…
As we spend more time together, I start to realize I might not want to go home and that maybe, just maybe, I’ve found what I’ve always been looking for. Could Khephren feel the same? If so, it would be a Christmas miracle and I don’t believe in those…right?

Amazing narrator of a brilliant seasonal story!
This was brilliant. I love Chloe's books anyway but Greg's narration just brings them to life! He throws himself into the character narration and makes them so much fun to listen to. Chloe's book is, absolutely of course, an absolute riot. real feelgood seasonal story about how an Alien kidnaps the most anti-Christmas human on the planet so as to experience the magic of the season. Brilliant, just brilliant.

Christmas Space adventure. With tentacles.
I have read this story before I was fortunate enough to get to listen to it on audio. This time last year it was my intro to the wild and wacky world Chloe Archer has created, and although initially I wasn't sure about the tentacles, I ended up loving this story. Sasha is an adorable grump with very good reason, and Khephren is a total sunshine cinnamon roll and together they're just magic. Dashing through space on a ship called the Sleigh Belle and attempting to create a perfect Hallmark Christmas this is funny, hot, touching and packed full of Christmas Cheer.
The narration by Greg Boudreaux takes this story to the next level though, he really brings Khephren, Sasha and the cast of characters alive and made me laugh out with 'Tentacle Bells', which I thought was inspired when I read it, but it's 1000x better with Greg singing it. Honestly, this might become a yearly tradition for me to listen to this Christmas story in an attempt to fire up my own Christmas Spirit. I. LOVED. THIS.

AMAZING
I LOVED THIS BOOK! Love the Tentacular Tales crossovers/cameos, but this one stands all on its own! Grinch meets Buddy the Elf, sorta, this epic romance starts off a bit rocky, like abduction level rocky - but no worries, with a little (or a lot) help from friends who become family, the HEA for these two is out of this world! (Terrible, yes, I know, but so fitting!) I love Rambo, Luna, Najar, and Khephren, Sasha & Jonesy, and all the new & much loved characters we encounter. Even with being so connected to the Tentacular Tales universe, this book holds its own as a swoony & sweet holiday themed romance - with alien adventures, tentacles doing naughty things & all the humor & pop culture references you could hope for with this amazing author. Loved it!
The audiobook narrated by Greg Boudreaux is spectacular! I absolutely adore his voicings of the various creatures & character personalities. Fun, frisky, funny, festive - absolutely fabulous!

tentacle fun at Christmas
This was quite a fun story, not as good as Tentacular Tales but still a fun sweet Christmas read. I liked all of the characters and am kind of jealous of Sasha being whisked away by a tentacled alien to travel the universe, it sounds great to me. There was a bit too much inner dialogue at times when I would have preferred things to be happening. overall a fun read/ listen. The narrator once again did a great job.
