The early years of Ray and his brother's.
Good story a little slow in some parts but on the most part good action and a nice look back at Ray's past and that of the team.

Great story let down by poor narration
New writer for me and a great story which has been let down by very bad story telling. If you can’t do English accent DON’T DO IT!! Just listen to an English regional accent then listen to yourself back. This narrator has let down a fun story.

Great listen
The books were my first military sci fi books on audible other than the warhammer 40k books and I was well and truly impressed, other than the stereo typical bad English accent it was an easy read and the narrators did very well in portraying multiple characters.

Good book but the female voice was annoying
Good book, narration was good until the female voice cuts in its annoying and completely off sync from the main voice the pitch and tone is completely off its kind of like cut and paste into the story. And not in keeping with it. I think this audiobook needs a redo and would get a decent 5/5. Overall. Upon reflection I don't want anyone to not listen or read it its a entertaining books and is worth your time. And me spending the time to write this review hopefully will reflect that.

Outstanding
This is the first story by this talented writer I have been introduced to. The narration and the characters were perfect for each other. Enough action to keep me listening.

I couldn't take any more of the Narration.
The narrator, rhett samuel price, reads this book with as much enthusiasm as the professor from Ferris Bueller's day off (bueller.... bueller.... bueller..) mixed with a monotone, old southern man. No change in voice inflection... ever, and everything is read with the same monotone, slow drawl. I tried for 12 hours to get into this book, but I couldn't get into the story in the least. The reading was just so horrid that I felt I had wasted 12 hours of my life. It seems like it'd be an exciting story. It's just too bad the narrator sounds like he's reading an instruction manual for how to watch paint dry.

Good story, but....
Good story but the voice actor has the most annoying voice I have had the misfortune of having to listen to.

Story is good, performance is weak
The narrator really isn't good. All of his voices are the same, and he mumbles. It's hard to understand him. The feminine voiced narrator was always the same droning monotone as well. Voice acting cannot be an afterthought, folks. It's all you get to tell the story!

Fun listen in the car.
I often have to leave out early in the morning to make it to appointments. You see the problem with 3AM commutes is the lack of anything good on the radio to battle the lullaby of the road hum. So I need a book with a bit of excitement to keep my mind going. Boy did this fit the bill.

Great flow and non-stop action!!
Well written series that never leaves you bored, that's for sure. The story flows well and continuously with a TON of action. Well detailed and explained without getting monotonous. The narrator does a very good job of varying the nuances of vocalizing the difference characters (for the most part), and the narrator. The use of a female voice for the female characters was nicely done as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this series, as I have everything I have read from Isaac Hooke. Highly recommend!!

Enjoyable listen
This is a fast paced constant action military sci fi series based on human controlled, sitting inside, fighting robots. The combat is continuous and the situations go from bad to worse for the heroes. Don't think too hard about whether this "universe" works logically and just enjoy the carnage. If you have a critical mind and everything "must make sense" then you are probably not going to like this trilogy. Buy this for the entertainment, because that is what this trilogy amply provides.

Interesting start, weak middle, teary ending
I will give an overall estimate of how I feel about this trilogy. the first book was misterious and interesting. the second one was mostly boring but had it's moments, and the last one was more of the same but with a bit less action, and more risk. the ending however I feel is the strongest out of all the books in the Grade Gallal series, having listened to everything there is to it.

Fabulous trilogy! This set is a perfect addition to his universe and to Rade's story.
