Interesting book ruined by weird narration
I will have to purchase the written version of this book of what is an interesting text. Sadly the narration is so unbearable and difficult to listen to, I could net even get through thirty minutes of the audiobook. Shame really.

A 'Good' Book with Laughable Narration.
The book itself is interesting but the narrator is so over dramatic and so pseudo creepy that it's remeniscent of the one fake satanist kid in schools that tries to convince the bullies that he can hex them. Something between scene chewing actor and a parody of b movie horror villians. You might be able to get through it but boy it is almost hilarious.

Distracting narration
The narration is very off-putting and distracting. Feels like he's trying to be too dramatic

Narrator is horrible!
What disappointed you about Aleister Crowley's Liber Al vel Legis?
I couldn't stand listening to this narrator, I was hoping I could listen to the Book of the Law as I work but this guy ruined it. He sounds like he's more interested in listening to himself sound "powerful" rather than provide a quality audio book, I don't know how this got on audible.
What didn’t you like about Dennis Logan’s performance?
Everything.

good story
His voice is weird but he helps Aleister Crowley come off well and pronounces words correctly. also I'm not sure if they added in FX in certain parts of the reading but I didn't like the deepness of his voice.. definitely not...

Don't Read This Book!
The narrator is over the top for this work. The work is bizarre, out of a twisted mind. It is hard to understand. I tried! After 15 minutes I shut it off. Later I slept. Nightmare after nightmare came. Real horrors, waking me every hour. At one point I threw my IPad across the room ( still sleeping I was). I prayed that morning, never again to listen to this evil. 5 stars because this is the real shit. BEWARE!!!

The narration perfectly fits the style.
The narrator fits Crowley's style perfectly and made it extremely enjoyable to listen to. It's worth the price.

Do as thou wilt; but forr real.
The way this book is read is a great aphorism for the wrong concept and understanding of Crowley. The interpretation is gorey to say the least. The content is freaking OutStanding and worthy of cult.

this guy is an idiot
I was starting to get into the subject until I listened to this vocal fried idiot reading this book. I wish I knew what this book was about, because i was too busy being irritated buy this clowns voice to actually pay attention. I want my 2 dollars back and I believe I'm owed 2 dollars for the pain and suffering I endured through my ear canals via this Dungeons and dragons tool trying to sound cool yet quiet enough to not be heard recording in his mother's basement. negative stars across the board and i am now cancelling my audible subscription so that I may never accidentally have to hear this Jack-wagons voice again. this will haunt my dreams for years to come. thanks audible for thinking this garbage was acceptable too actually charge people for. you should be ashamed of yourselves.

A cavalcade of vocal fry.
I was elated to see some of Crowley's work on audible but it was a bit painful making it through this one . Keep Crowley's work coming, but dial the vocal fry WAAAAAY back. Other than that, the delivery and mixing were superb!

Just as expected
The narrator is fine. Lots of reviews taking issue with him. I think he did a fine job. The story? It’s a classic, one can listen to it over and over and it will still be an unsolved mystery.
