The Holmes and Watson Detective Agency has a reputation for finding lost pets and finding people who skip out on the local bail bondsman. The girls wish for something more exciting, something they can skin their teeth into.

Brock Melbourne has moved to Vienna, Virginia, after losing his wife and children in a tragic fire six months ago.

Eight-year-old twins Lennox and Layla Goldwyn are missing. Landon and Ruby Goldwyn turn to Shirley and Janie when they think the police are not looking hard enough.
