Summary
This well-thought-out training regimen begins with an in-depth look at the necessary tools of the trade, including your scanner, software, and platform, and then moves to practical advice on subjects such as how to find the right stocks to trade, how to define support and resistance levels, and how to best manage your trades in the stress of the moment. An extensive review of proven trading strategies follows, all amply illustrated with real examples from recent trades.
Risk management is addressed, including tips on how to determine proper entry, profit targets, and stop losses. Lastly, to bring it all together, there’s a “behind the scenes” look at the author’s thought process as he walks you through a number of trades.
While aimed at the listener with some exposure to day trading, the novice trader will also find plenty of useful information, easily explained, within the audiobook.
In this audiobook, you'll learn:
- How to start day trading as a business
- How to day trade stocks, not gamble on them
- How to choose a direct-access broker, and required tools and platforms
- How to plan important day-trading strategies
- How to execute each trading strategy in detail: entry, exit, stop loss
- How to manage the trading plan

Accompanying pdf doesn't seem to be available
Without an accompanying pdf / written material a number of examples do not make any sense

A must listen
A realistic view of what it takes to become a pro trader. Found it practical and easy to follow.
The author enforced the need to do your own due diligence and not follow experts blindly which I strongly agree with.
The key takeaway for me was that every trade is unique and should be treated that way, there is no "always" in trading and an elite trader respects that.
A great read. Thank you Andrew and Chris

Without a doubt one of the best books about Day Trading
Andrew has presented the important stuff in an easy to understand way. Alongside the ‘To do’ materials he quite rightly not only emphasises on the ‘mine fields’ where most of traders (not limited to beginners) land but educates the reader how to avoid them. In my sincere opinion both of his books about day trading are ’must read’ should one decide to step into this business.

Genuinely helpful
Over the past 23 years, I have read most of the most popular books on trading and daytrading. This one stands out as one of the most insightful and accurate. It deals with practical techniques but also with the psychological side and motivational parts. This book is useful no matter what you trade. I trade index futures and and found his information very useful. If you are a successful trader, it will reinforce your good habits and if you are a novice, it will steer you in the right direction. I highly recommend it. Good luck.

I would highly recommend the book to any day trader. Really well written. I really appreciate specific examples provided with the charts etc and not just theoretical explanations.

Good listen overall..
Nice book with lot of good stuff..
I could make more of it if I had some explanatory videos.. as reference of figures in audio is very hard to locate and understand...
I strongly suggest to create short clips and videos on your website (instead of just figures)

Great follow up to Day Trading for a Living
I start this review with a confession - I joined Andrew's incredible community at Bear Bull Traders and yes I am a little biased. However this is only because if you are serious about a career change into Day Trading then I can't recommend joining a community enough.
I read Advanced Techniques in Day Trading after wanting to learn more after completing Andrew's first book 'How to Day Trade for a Living'. There is quite a lot of overlap between the two books of which Andrew highlights clearly but this is to enable them to be standalone and not a 'series' and I didn't feel it didn't detract from the additional information. The focus on Risk and Money management is balanced very well with the detailed descriptions and examples given throughout the book however I felt the correct balance is struck throughout.
I highly recommend both of Andrew's Day Trading books for anyone serious about learning to Day Trade.

don't waste your money
This is literally guide. It does not teach any techniques in trading. Don't be fooled.

Great insights, but can be frustrating
The book is very insightful, specially Chapter 6. There are too many passages transferred directly from the first book.

reading material
I know I can pull up the chart in my work station because you do give the dates of what you are looking at. Would be nice to have a quick visual reference, stopping the book and going to the charts, burdensome. Overall great book and great material. Plan to look into those strategy's and get familiar

Excellent audiobook on day trading!
This is one of the best audiobook on day trading. I would highly recommend that you listen to Andrew's first audiobook and then listen to this one....then listen to them again. You will not only become a successful day trader, once you practice what is in the audiobooks but the books will also teach about the importance of resilience and being persistence in life

Great Follow Up!
Really enjoyed this one, it was more in depth in the areas I left the first book w questions on. The realistic approach to how hard this is going to be is what people including myself need.
Looking forward to pursuing more information from Andrew and his squad

Not a story book!!! This is trading techniques.
Very technical, but well written, perfect for beginner traders. Rules to keep you alive and how to apply them.
Following with charts was easy.
Narrator sounded excellent

Sound fundamentals +
I “read” Andrew Aziz’s first audiobook about a year ago, and although it was a good primer I missed some of the detailes in his explanations and examples. This time around I purchased both the Kindle (at almost no cost) and Audible version. Listening and looking closely at each explanation and chart better illustrated the strategies and approaches he tries to convey.
Inevitably theres overlap between the two titles but this one goes more in depth in the strategies and best times of day you could use them but most importantly, risk management. Risk/reward ratio, position sizing and total risk became suddenly cristal clear this time around.
