Summary

Can a popular bartender win over a strong single mom? From New York Times best-selling author J. Sterling comes a thrilling new stand-alone romance you won’t want to miss.

Everyone knows who the Fisher brothers are: the hottest single bartenders this side of the Santa Monica Pier. Which is exactly why when I run into Ryan Fisher one day at the beach, I intend to steer clear of him and his sexy, playboy ways.

I’ve heard the rumors. I know his type. I’ve seen him in action. And I’m not interested.

But Ryan has other ideas. He’s convinced that I have him all wrong. But I don’t have the luxury of making mistakes when it comes to men. Not anymore. Being a single mom does that to a woman.

There’s only room in my life for one boy, and his name isn’t Ryan. So why won’t he go away and leave me alone already?

A really lovely listen 👍🙂

This was the third book in a row that I’ve listened to by this author. All were included - thank you, and because the first one was so good, I downloaded a few of them.
A nice romance story with lovely narrators who fit perfectly and did a great job.
Very likeable characters, a few plot twists, drama and the hot scenes we all love😉😊❤️ without being overly heavy on porn like content, that so many books include now. That sort of stuff has its place, although some writers totally overdo it and leave me feeling a bit dirty for reading or listening 😁 This book got everything right for what it was, and so ticks all boxes for me ✔️👍
A good listen, very well done and would definitely recommend.

Single mum finds true love ❤️

I love Grant, he’s funny and so cheeky for an old man. I can imagine him charming the ladies in his younger days. Grant made me chuckle. Ryan is every girl's dream……… so dreamy! Sophia deserves happiness and the three of them make a lovely family unit.

The narrators did an excellent job.

The girl kind of bugged me

I’m a single mom and that girl just kept stressing over the wrong things. Seriously !

No common sense

The way this book frustrated me is insane. I feel as though the two main characters in this book both lacked an ounce of common sense. I wanted to stop listening but my curiosity to hear how it ended got the best of me.

Stopped 1/2 way. Typical heroine, very disappointed

Sooo, I read the first two books of this series and I liked them enough to move on to the third. But as I continued to listen, the heroine was like most heroines on other books, making snap designs about others without bothering to investigate. Making decisions about the hero based on ignorant info or no info. I’m done. She’s a moron and I hate books where the hero is chasing after a heroine too stupid enough to use common sense before making decisions.

Totally satisfied

This was one of the books that I just couldn’t stop listening to. The narration was perfect, the storyline was just wonderful I was a nervous wreck. But the happy ending left me so very satisfied. Love this series.

Unfortunate end to a good series

I really enjoyed the first two books in this series and had high hopes for the final brother.

The female narrator sounded like she had a cold. The male narrator was alright.

Too Far-fetched plot, weak, dumb heroine

I have enjoyed several other books by this author but this one...<Huge EYE roll> Darn it! This is such a disappointing final book of the series. Previously, I loved the Fisher Brothers and the gals they loved...until now.

The love story started as a interesting unique romance. But then itturned stupid...really really stupid! In a digital age that delivers tracking phone apps and modern family courts that do not hesitate to throw dead beat dad's in jail for avoiding child support there is NO WAY this could have happened unless the 'victims' are imbeciles! aaanndd unfortunately the MCs are. The stupidity of the characters and situation turns the emotional moments sappy rather than romantic.

This book disrespects the intelligence of it's readers. It reads like a Chinese dynasty story of the 1400s as though the family is all powerful that can write the laws as they go along. Also, what mother doesn't know to GO TO THE POLICE and file reports regardless if criminal action can be taken it is critical to formally document every transgression. It's not as though this was a story of a street hooker vs. a 1% heir of a drug lord.
Just ridiculous!

PS female narrator plays the role so sick sweet that she greatly contributed to the feeble minded woman. < smh> Again disappointing!

Fine if it’s free, but don’t waste your money

I’ve got to say this one was a waste of time. It was free, so I’m not mad about it. The FMC is a pitiful imbecile. The MMC was better, but still not bright. Narrators were good though.
