About this listen
They celebrated their love with a dance. But will it end in divorce?
John and Abby Reynolds were the perfect couple, sharing a love born of childhood friendship and deep family ties. They are envied by their friends, cherished by their children, admired by their peers. But John and Abbey are about to lose it all. On the verge of having an affair, John is no more the man Abby married than she is the long-ago girl of his dreams. They are strangers whose days of dancing seem gone forever.
They gather their three children to announce their plans, but before they can speak, their daughter makes an announcement of her own; she's getting married in the summer.
Abby and John determine not to ruin their daughter's season of happiness, but as the wedding nears they are haunted by questions. Is the decision they've made irreversible? Are there times when marriage - even the marriage between two people of faith - is truly beyond repair? And is it possible, alone in the moonlight on an old wooden pier, to once more find...a time to dance?
Discover the resiliency of boundless love, the power of commitment, and the amazing faithfulness of God in A Time to Dance.

My comments:
Karen Kingsbury is my favourite Christian fiction author. I discovered her book Wen Joy came to stay at a point in my life where I knew I believed in god but was not really practicing my faith. That book had proverbs chapter 3 verses 5 and 6 throughout the book and it touched me in a way nothing ever has before, from the moment I herd it I was able to recite it from memory and then in 2013 I made my commitment to follow christ fully and practice my faith.
Reading John and Abbies story in a time to dance has made me look at my own faith and I want to start doing what John did and create a bible Journal of what god is telling me. I want to follow in Karen's example because it's clear when reading her books that she's living god's plan for her life and using the gift that god has clearly given her to touch peoples hearts. Over the years since I got into her writing it's had a huge influence on me in regards to my faith and love for god and I look forward to hearing the conclusion to John and Abbies story. One day I want to write my own christian fiction story and have been working on it for a while now however I've not really let god lead me on the journey and I want to confess publicly that I am a sinner but I have gods grace because he forgives us all for all our sins.
Reading this book has made me want to find my calling even more and I pray that god will reveal that to me in time. Karen's books always touch me in a heart felt way but now I'm a true believer of the lord looking to develop a Christ like character I read her writing with a different understanding and plan to reread books I've read in the past to enhance my learning. Karen has taught me a lot about living god's calling and the love of god she has is clear in her writing.
