Summary
Zane Holden, the founder of Stonewall Investigations, has been haunted by the same case for years. He's had loved ones taken by the serial killer known as the Unicorn, and his drive to find the monster is higher than ever. Finally, he feels like he's getting close.
Something else that's getting closer? His wedding day to the man of his dreams.
Lorenzo De Luca found the love of his life in Zane. He's the happiest he's ever been. His career as a high-powered defense attorney is at a peak, and his daydreams are filled with wedding bells and honeymooning.
It felt like absolutely nothing could go wrong.
But with the tensions from the case rising and a new presence in Enzo's life making themselves known, there's suddenly a lot that could go wrong. Zane and Enzo will have to tread carefully on their way to a blissful union. As Zane pushes closer to the Unicorn, the danger increases exponentially, until both men are faced with an excruciating reality: This all has to end one way or another.

Unexpected Twist
I didn't expect it to be Leo/Emory. That was some twist in the history of twists! The balcony scence was HOT! I couldn't keep a straight face while I was listening to it.
Greg is awesome as always.
Overall, I'm finally relieved that the unicorn won't terrorize us anymore.

What an epic conclusion!!
First, if you’ve not read the rest of the series please go back and start there. This book needs to be read last.
It was gripping and fast paced and full of drama and angst. I loved this final instalment where the overarching plot comes to a head. The serial killer that’s been hanging over Zane since the start has upped the game and is on his tail, or more accurately Enzos. I couldn’t figure out who it was until near the end and the twist was great!!
Super listen, really good narration, really recommend.

Brilliant Book
Fabulous story kept me gripped all the way through. This was the final and best book of the series. Zanes determination to find the unicorn which nearly broke Enzo and Zane apart. Great twist right to the very end would never of guessed Leo was the unicorn well worth a listen. Greg is a superb narror one of my favorites if he is narrorating the novel is usually always good. Love Max Walkers style of written brilliant author.

Another great book
Another great book well worth the credit. As with the others in this series, the narration was just perfect, the storyline gripping and the characters well developed and engaging. The only negative was that i made the mistake of reading the reviews before I started the book and the first two i read named the Unicorn and by doing so took away a lot of the intended suspense! Audible definitely needs to read the reviews before publishing them.

Unexpected end to mystery
I have bing listened the whole serirs in the last week and men the plot twist of who the Unicorn murder is came a bit from left side for me and alao for the men from 'Stonewall'.
I enjoy the writing by Max, not to much frills, but a clear plotline for the main characters and their further developing relation and how live gets sometimes in the way, when communication is not open and clear. 📚 4*
Greg is a great narrator and his style fits for me with this series. I love his cadence and intonations, which makes the stories real and flow seamlessly. 🎧 5*

Spoiler in another review ruined it
I was halfway through this book when I decided to browse Audible and check out the reviews. What a mistake. I can't believe some idiot decided to spoiler who the killer is in the first line of their review. I can believe Audible posted it as no human checks review content as far as I can see. Disappointed.
