Summary

My best friend made a deal with the devil....

I now run The Supernatural Dating Agency, a discreet section of Withernsea's finest matchmaking service. Yeah, I'll do all the work while Shelley makes babies with her gorgeous vampire husband. It's not like I've anything better to do anyway. My ex is now a newly turned vamp struggling to accept he can no longer admire his own reflection, and I don't care what Ebony "sees", Kim is not about to date a wolf; he has better hair than I do.

Then Lucy Fir, fresh from the gates of guarding Hell, decides she wants me to find her a boyfriend. He'll need to be a knight in shining inflammable armor with her temper. Can I find her a date, or is my new career damned before it's even started?

Welcome to Withernsea and the Supernatural Dating Agency, for listeners of Michelle Rowen, Gerry Bartlett, and Michele Bardsley who like their humor to have bite.

A fun sequel

I really enjoyed this sequel. Lucy's ex-demon quirks had some really funny scenes, and I liked seeing Frankie overcome his struggle. We got to see a lot of the side characters, which helped build a great magical-world, which I'm sure we'll see more of in future books.

The narration was great, though it was a little odd hearing British slang on a different accent. Some of the more dramatic scenes felt a little off, but all the jokes landed well so I enjoyed it overall.

Easy read, enjoyable lighthearted story

This is book 2 in the series and although you don't have to have read book 1, I'd recommend it as some of the back story will make more sense.
Lucy Fur is back from hello and looking for love so that she can get rid of her demon persona, so she joins the local supernatural dating agency and goes on a series of dates, meeting lots of different types of supernatural on the way.
This book is lighthearted and fun but still has lots going on with loads of sub characters and different sub-plots in the background. very enjoyable read.
The narrator was good, she put feeling into the words and I would definitely listen to more books she has narrated. A few more different voices for the characters would have made it perfect.

this isnt my usual genre to read, I'm generally not a fan of paranormal, but its well worth a read or listen. its an enjoyable story with some great likable characters, humorous moments and unlikely love matches.

You need this book

This book was everything I needed in a book and didn’t know it. The humour is amazing, and the heat superb and the storyline is fantastic.

The narrator really gave it depth and brought it to life. So between the author and the narrator this was just unputdownable I loved it.

I loved it

A Devil and a Date is the 2nd novel in the Supernatural Dating Agency series and another page-turner from Andie M Long. I am absolutely loving this series. Its fun, and amusing with cast of quirky characters you can't help but love. This highly entertaining story had me hooked from beginning to end and I enjoyed every moment of it laughing aloud throughout the majority of the novel. This was a captivating read and I would highly recommend it ti all lovers of paranormal romance.
I listened to the audiobook version of this novel which was narrated by Angela Doll. She did a phenomenal job with the characters and varying their voices. Her pace and timing was excellent and she really brought the story to life. I enjoyed listening to her narrate this novel.

Romantic Comedy

A Devil of a Date by Andie M. Long is a supernatural romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Angela Doll. This is the second book in the Supernatural Dating Agency series. I cannot wait to jump into book three.

I am a bit torn on Angela’s narration on this story. The Characters are supposed to be British but it’s an American narrator. I think Angela did a great job with using different voices for the women. However, she did not change the tone for the men’s character so it got a bit confusing at times.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys paranormal romantic comedies.

Great series.

I listened to the audiobook version of A Devil of a Date straight after listening to The Vampire Wants a Wife and as I enjoyed that so much, this story had a lot to live up to. I can happily say that this book was possibly better than the first. It was funny, and endearing with just the right amount of oh no! Moments.
Angela Doll returned to narrate this second in series and once again did a wonderful job.

Laugh out loud throughout

Another great story to add to the series. this carries on from the last book and we see one of my fave characters lucy fir. A LOT OF ACTION IN THIS BOOK THAN THE PREVIOUS ONE BUT IT DOESNT DEFLECT FROM THE MAIN STORYLINE.
