New York Times and USA Today best-selling authors Heidi McLaughlin and L.P. Dover come together for a sexy new series that delivers romance for every season!

February is the month of love, but not for Sophie. One week before Valentine’s Day, she learns her boyfriend of two years has been cheating on her with one of his dental hygienists. As much as she wants to erase any trace of him from her life, she has no choice but to face him and his new squeeze at a huge Valentine’s Day bash that has fast become the social event of the season. No way is she going alone. What she needs is a beautiful hunk of arm candy...stat

Sophie’s best friend, Ellie, proposes the perfect solution to her dilemma. Her brother Tanner, the smokin’ hot surfer, just got back into town and is more than happy to help Sophie prove she’s over her scumbag ex. What starts as an act between Sophie and Tanner quickly swells into more. It doesn’t take long before Sophie finds herself wanting to ride more than just waves with the toned and tanned hottie. But when passion crashes over the pair, Sophie fears she’s putting her friendship with Ellie at risk.

Can Tanner convince her to give their love a chance? Or will the bonds of friendship repel Cupid’s arrow?

I loved the narration of Amelia Mendez, perfect

Its Valentine’s Day, when Sophie discovers her boyfriend has been cheating with his dental hygienist!! Finding herself dateless to a Valentine’s party. She goes with her friend's brother, Tanner. Problem is her ex will be there. Can Tanner help her over come and start again.

When the time is right... it's right!

For a short romance, this book has a lot going on. Tanner returns home to the woman of his adolescent dreams, his sister's best friend. Sophie is freshly out of a relationship with her cheating ex and looking for a date for a Valentine's Day Ball. Turns out Tanner is still attracted to Sophie and this time the pieces could fall into place. Between the cheating ex, the shitty toilet, the Lamborghini, and more, these two are definitely facing some really weird odds!

This book was light, sweet and easy to listen to. The narrators were good but the sound quality was a little blurred.

This audiobook was given to me for free at my request and I chose to submit this review.

Quick listen!

I like this best friend's brother romance. It was a quick listen and I felt the narrator and audio quality were a bit better than the previous book in the series.

This story was a bit better for me. Best friends brother trope. Sophie learns her boyfriend is cheating on her and there is a social event on Valentine's Day and in which she wants to show she's over him. Ellie (Sophie's best friend) has a solution to use her brother Tanner. And then things fly. I thought the phone toilet scene of Tanner explaining why his phone was disconnected was kind of funny.

Narration by: Amelia Mendez was ok.

Short romance

This was a quick best-friend's brother romance story. the narrator did a great job. I liked that the h's ex got his comeuppance and the poor H had such a laugh-out-loud bad day during the conflict of the story.

Hilarious and Sweet

This was the Valentine's day one but you can really listen to it at any time. It didn't feel overly Valentine's dayish. Which I might have been disappointed in if I had read it in February. But, I didn't so it ended up being perfect! I really liked the girl in this one - she seems smart and put together. The guy wasn't my type because he seemed kind of crude and I don't think it's a good idea to be with your best friend's brother.

The narration had the perfect comedic timing! There were a couple of moments in this story where I was actually laughing and looked like a crazy person on my commute. It was a joy to listen to! While the couple wasn't my favorite I enjoyed the telling so much I will probably listen to it again! Maybe this time for Valentine's day.

If you like movies like No Strings Attached, you will love this story!

Fun lite entertaining

Sophie and Tanner had nine years to catch up on.

Sophie finds her partner in bed with another woman. She does not take the crap and walks away. Her best friends and partner in crime has an idea or two to make Sophie feel better.

Tanner has been infatuated with Sophie since he was a teen. He is back in town and hot. He finds himself pulled into being a date for Sophie. Things heat up before they even get to the event.

Amelia Mendez did well with her performance. I would have liked to have a mor masculine sound for the male counterparts.
