Summary
A dash of destiny and a pinch of passion can change everything....
Scottish warlock Rory MacGregor knows something from the supernatural world is trying to kill him. He’s not sure exactly what that something is, but it’ll make for a fun adventure figuring it all out. Of course, nothing is simple, so when Fate tosses in a dash of destiny to keep him on his toes by way of an enchanting new arrival in town, he’s all in. He just wished she was, too.
Life hasn’t turned out as planned for Jennifer Greene. After taking care of her sick father for years, she’s come to Green Vallis, Wisconsin, for one reason only - a job. She isn’t looking for adventure, even if it’s by way of a tempting Highlander in a kilt or men streaking across the countryside. And she definitely isn’t looking for love - even though love is looking for her.
From the Highlands of Scotland to the valleys of Wisconsin... A modern-day Scottish paranormal romance by New York Times best-selling author Michelle M. Pillow.
Warning: Contains yummy, hot, mischievous MacGregors who are almost certainly up to no good on their quest to find true love. And Uncle Raibeart.

Finally Rory's story
I had a soft spot for Rory, and was wondering when his turn would be to find love. Well, here we are, and I enjoyed his story as much as the continuous antics of the clan. This is truly a fantastic series to get lost into hours of listening!.

Fun, Romance, Paranormal Adventure
Another adventure into courting with the MacGregor clan as this time Rory MacGregor discovers his destined mate.
Falling in love and romance the MacGregor way however is no bed of roses or smooth sailing as each match has its own unique adventure ride and it can be a total rollercoster with magic, mystery, obstacles and yet we always reach a HEA ending, but the journey to that HEA is very enjoyable. There is a wonderful cast of characters that add to the books and the audible is an added bonus as you get to enjoy not only the wonderful humour and great storyline but good Scottish accent that will make your toes curl.
The MacGregor clan are a focus unto themselves but all in a loving, humour and family first way.
Each book draws you more into the MacGregor world and get to know and join in as you feel part of the family.
A real feel good, enjoyable, cozy, fun romance with a paranormal twist, great combination.

Great Story
When Rory meets Jennifer he thinks it's magic and Jenny fights the urge to hurt him. The attraction is obvious. This is my first MacGregor book and lordy, I laughed so hard. The Scottish voice was so funny. The narrators voice is very nice. I liked all the characters. This book was a fun and easy listen. Books seem funnier when done in someone else's voice, my imagination isn't as funny. This one is among the favorites. I highly recommend it.

Rory finds his mate
Rory sees having someone or something trying to kill him as an adventure. So that gives you an idea of the type of warlock that Rory is so his mate has to be prepared for almost anything. Jennifer lives in a world of work and bills so when she finds herself lust hating after Rory, she knows something is going on.
As always, the Warlocks MacGregor will keep you entertained and leave you satisfied.

The MacGregor's at at it again
Rory MacGregor is envious, his cousins have all found their true loves, and after hundreds of years he is still alone. When he first meets Jennifer she tries to kill him. He see's this as a minor obstacle in the future relationship. Jennifer is both attracted to and wants to kill Rory. This is another fun filled MacGregor story.
This is an excellent adaptation and the narration is spot on.

Engaging and Full of Fun!
This was such an engaging and funny story! I just loved the way Rory and Jennifer’s romance developed. The narrator did an amazing job with the Scottish accents - they were spot on and I should know having family in Scotland. I love the MacGregors and their funny family quirks! And Railbert - what can I say - he makes me laugh out loud every time he’s in a chapter. This should be made into a TV serial! Just brilliant!

This book had me from the start. The narrator was great with accents and the story was fantastic! I lost a lot of sleep on this one. I Made the mistake of starting it at bedtime and I couldn't stop until it was over. High praise for Michelle M. Pillow and this whole series!

All it takes is a dash of destiny
The MacGregors are an old clan of Scottish Warlocks who now live in Wisconsin. They are a large close-knit family. The family is full of magic, wit, humor, brazen challenges, and fun.
This story features Rory MacGregor and Jennifer Greene, a waitress at a popular restaurant.
They meet in the forest where she tries to kill him. Some very odd things are happening to Jennifer- dirty tears, throwing up mud, a strong desire from time to time to kill Rory. The family is certain that she is possessed. Despite this, Rory and Jennifer fall for each other instantly (fate, soulmates). Before a romance can go forward, some questions must be answered. Who has possessed Jennifer? Why does this entity want Jennifer to stab him? This is a story that will startle you and make you laugh. It is full of magic, fun, a bit of danger, and romance. The characters are interesting, entertaining, and absolutely hilarious, especially Uncle Raibert who is here being, well, Uncle Raibert. Narration by Michael Ferraiuolo is, as always, excellent and entertaining.
