Lynn Chandler Willis has worked in the corporate world, the television industry, babysat nine grandkids, and owned and published a small-town newspaper. All the occupations have several things in common including meltdowns, tears, name calling and hair pulling. She’s an award-winning, best-selling author and in 2013, was the first woman in a decade to win the St. Martin’s Press/Private Eye Writers of America Best First P.I. Novel competition. She’s the current president of the Southeast Chapter of the Mystery Writers of America and a member of the International Thriller Writers. She lives in a little cottage on a mini-farm in the heart of North Carolina surrounded by the nine grandkids, a bunch of chickens, five ducks, two turkeys, three French bulldogs, two Weimaraners, Willy the One-Eyed hellcat, Jingles the slightly overweight calico, and Finn, the world’s best rescued border collie ever. Sometimes they all get along. The animals. Not the grandkids.
