The photo on the left is me. It was taken when I was 9 years old, just a few months before my parents and I moved into an extremely haunted house in Upstate New York. We certainly were not prepared for what happened in The Murphy House! My name is Chip Coffey. I am a psychic, medium, spiritual counselor, paranormal investigator, speaker and, now, author. You may have seen me on TV shows, such as "Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal," "Paranormal State," "Celebrity Ghost Hunt," "Larry King Live," "Good Morning America" or "Nightline." In my first book, "Growing Up Psychic," I share lots of stories about my own experiences as a psychic youngster growing up surrounded by the paranormal. I also provide no-nonsense, indispensable information for anyone who interacts with children who may be exhibiting psychic abilities or having paranormal experiences -- parents, educators, medical professionals, mental health clinicians, members of the clergy, paranormal investigators -- and adults who faced the challenges of growing up psychic.
