Summary
Wrath volunteers to live and work outside Homeland, where he'll once again be confined in a small space with other males. He was subjected to horrific abuse and conditioning and forced to view endless sex tapes of human females while chained to Mercile's perverted machines. Wrath knows he’s too dangerous and emotionally damaged to ever be with a female.
Lauren has just been detained by three big, buff, well-armed men - New Species. One of them really catches her eye. He's tall, sexy and... her new roommate, apparently. Having never met a man this spectacular, she decides to taste every inch of his amazing body. Wrath is definitely open to that plan. The sex is incredible and he gives her everything she needs - but he'll only go so far. Something is holding him back.
Lauren has to make him unleash his desire and Wrath has to get past his fear if the couple wants any chance at a future together.
Publisher’s Note: While each New Species book is a standalone, the greatest enjoyment will come from reading them in series order.
Editor reviews
Narrated with flirtatious coyness by Vanessa Chambers, Wrath: New Species, Book 6 is the continued sexy saga concerning a genetically modified new species - warrior men who are half human, half animal, and 100% hunks.
When a proud and studly member of this new species, Wrath, meets Lauren, a fast-talking, quick-thinking woman whom danger always seems to find, things get suspenseful and very, very passionate indeed. The plot perhaps isn’t as important as the, ahem, richly described steamy details.

Great story
Loved Wrath and Lauren - they complimented each other well as they were both protective of one another. Another great job by the narrator with the different voices. It was nice to see one of the newer, wilder species' males get their happy ending. Wrath is really sweet, although he is a little rough around the edgges he goes above and beyond to show Lauren that he will make a good mate.

Wrath
All her books in this series have very similar traits. The guys are carbon copies of each other but since this works , why change it. Not my favourite of stories & nothing really stands out but great to listen to when I'm running.

Narrator’s voice for hero annoying
The narrator’s voice for the hero really grated on me. She’s a good narrator and many male voices are great, but her choice for Wrath just didn’t work. The story was ok but I prefer others in the series.

Not her best
Not the best in the series. Story was a little pedestrian. In previous books, the narrator had done well creating different male voices. However, Wrath's voice was irritating and ruined the narration somewhat. Hopefully, this will not continue in future books.
