Summary
Even if the world did end, five men is far too many to handle. Isn’t it?
Since the Final War, I’ve been doing just fine. I have a lovely cave, a darling vegetable patch, forest views...and if loneliness sometimes squeezes my aching heart, well, my books have always kept me company.
That is, until a pack of hunters chase me from my home and right into the arms of several rather large, rather brutish ex-Army Rangers. And those brutes have the nerve to make me the rudest offer I’ve ever heard.
Their protection—for my body.
The whole thing is absurd. Scandalous. Perverted, even. I mean, just the thought of doing that with five men, well, it’s...it’s....
I take the deal.
Okay, so it’s possible I find them indecently tempting. But these men also have secrets, and pasts so fraught with emotion, I’m not sure I can untangle them all. Or whether they’ll let me.
No, my brutes have made it excruciatingly clear where they think I belong—beneath them, between them, bent over backwards for them...but certainly not beside them.
And I don’t think that’s going to work for me.
The Brutes of Bristlebrook is a dark(ish) post-apocalyptic, steamy reverse harem romance series, meaning Eden will end up with three or more love interests, after I’ve appropriately obliterated my listeners’ nerves.
Expect complex characters, first person present tense, multiple POVs, MM in the harem, angst, lots of laughs, and to encounter material that some listeners may find sensitive—a full description of which can be found on my author website.

the prefect cast does exist
Epic performance from the full cast. Ever since the narrators were first announced i thought only one fav was missing and damnn that surprise at the end had me grinning like a fool. Well done 🧎♀️🫠🤭💜💜

One of the best audio books I have listened to!
Listening to audio compared to reading a book is a completely different experience - especially when you’re already attached to the characters in written form. I will admit, I was excited but also nervous when I knew this was coming to audio because I wondered how the characters would be portrayed - I quickly realised there was nothing to be worried about. The casting of this audio book is perfect. I don’t think there could be a cast which could beat this one, it’s impossible.
Each voice actor went above and beyond for the characters they played, I felt the laughter, the joy, the sorrow and the enthusiasm with every single one and they were exactly how I imagine these characters in my head. This audio made me fall in love with the characters even more, if that’s possible? It’s overwhelming having a voice put to a character but all six of these voice actors did it so effortlessly, almost as though they were destined for these characters all along. I am speechless with the work and effort that has been put into the production of this audio book.
If you’ve already read the book or if you haven’t read it yet, I definitely recommend the audio for a completely different experience. I’m excited for everyone to experience Eden and her Brutes in a completely different way.

what a spectacular performance
OH my, what a story, what a cast, and what a performance !! this whole experience was spectacular, and I need the next book like so badly. I can't even stand it !!!
Huge congratulations to all the narrators !! this was an incredible experience and goes to prove that human voices are the only voices that's should ever narrate books!!
to the author Jeez girl this book where has this story been all milk life I can't tell you how much I loved it and I can't wait for the next book , the whole series I adored it .

Fantastic narration
Loved this! Fast paced with plenty of action, drama and spice! I couldn’t stop listening. Love the all star cast of this audio. The narrators do a fantastic job of bringing the characters alive. Loved this
