Are the biblical stories of angels in the Old Testament being witnessed today? Are UFOs messengers from God? Chris Bledsoe, a deeply religious family man and successful business owner from North Carolina was on the verge of the unthinkable after losing everything in the 2007 financial crisis and suffering from a debilitating chronic disease. Fishing along the banks of the Cape Fear River with three co-workers and his teenage son, he walks away from the group and cries out to God in a desperate prayer for help.

Peter Andrassy can’t rest. Fresh from solving his wife’s murder, the former NYC detective is back in Hungary and on a mission. His attention is centered on exposing the leader of the human trafficking syndicate in Budapest. Learning of a plot to kill Lili, a beautiful young female TV reporter, Peter acts quickly and abducts her. When he learns she’s been fired for an unauthorized interview of a trafficking victim, his plans change. The dead girl’s best friend is missing and being hunted by the traffickers. The leader of the criminal organization is feeling the pressure and is out for blood.

On an Earth which is toxic, radioactive, and nearly dead, Mabel and Ian are two adventurers who live in Dome 17. There have been missions sent out into the wastelands to try to reconnect to other domes, but none have succeeded, yet. When it is discovered that Dome 17 may suffer a similar fate to those other domes, a risky and last-ditch plan is attempted. Teams will be sent looking for any of the seven great intergenerational colony ships which were launched a century ago. Yet, all those ships have been lost for decades.

Peter Andrassy is tortured by guilt. Widowed for a year and looking for redemption, the former NYC detective is in a Budapest prison for a murder he didn’t commit. His work with the national police has brought a new perspective. For the first time in months, he knows he can solve his wife’s murder, but he might be too late.
