Teenage Breq escapes the grim streets of a resource-low, near-future world to take a job as a "corpse diver" in a massive online sci-fi game, Bane. Breq finds himself in a dangerous, life-threatening adventure within the game as he searches for the reason for the death of his best friend. With landscapes and settings that evoke the sci-fi classics, our hero must level up his character as fast as he can, so as to be able to take on and defeat a sinister, masked figure. Especially as the threat posed by the unknown character is not limited to events within the game.

As Vampire Sorcerer Athan travels the world of Anatolia freeing demi-humans, an ancient threat lurks in the most remote parts of the world. It forces him to join hands with an unlikely mantis girl, an ancient dragon chick that is too powerful for her own good, and a voluptuous mimic that can morph into a deadly sword.

Athanasios is forced to work in a glorified arcade, until one day, he receives an invitation in his mailbox to try a new game. But it's not the exciting new adventure he was expecting. To make matters worse, they trigger an ominous light that appears in the sky, and provoke the native wildlife. Though saved from disaster, the survivors learn they’ve moved out of the frying pan and into the fire.
