Further adventures of the 6-year-old Alex and his talking cat Bim. In these “Catventures” Alex again spends his summer vacation with Grandma in Upstate New York. He sells lemonade to passersby, he learns how to swim, and watches street artists. On July 4th he goes for a trip to New York City, where he visits the Statue of Liberty, The Magic Toy Shop, and finally witnesses the famous fireworks at the Brooklyn Bridge.

Pavel Cerny's career started as that of a film director in his native Czechoslovakia in the magical city of Prague. After forced expulsion from the communist country, he moved to Los Angeles where he became a screenwriter and playwright. He became an internationally known stage director (USA, Germany, Austria) but it hasn't been till the covid-19 pandemics of 2020 that he became energized again. During the first 10 months he wrote 4 screenplays and 2 books.

THE BLUE BOTTLE is a horror fantasy, a fictionalized story of the infamous marriage between the world famous author Edgar Allan Poe, and his 13 year old sickly cousin Virginia. The book is not casting any judgment, instead it is a story of a great love that has a tragic ending.

Hamlet in Baltimore is a horror about the five-year-old Edgar Poe and his two actor parents being murdered by a vampire. It is a wholly made up fantasy. In reality, Poe's alcoholic father left the family when Poe was one and a half years old, and his mother died of consumption when he was two. Instead, this is a fiction about what formed E.A. Poe's life and work.
