Mr. and Mrs. Kliene were founders of the Kliene Hospital for the Ailing. After their death, their will was probated, and everything was left in the jurisdiction of Doctor Slogg. Although he was a man of integrity and protocol, Dr. Slogg had never engaged himself in the spiritual life and beliefs of the deceased, so when the town senators and lawmakers approached him to build a wing in the hospital to accommodate unwanted pregnancies, Dr. Slogg and his wife consented to the request. Immediately, they began having nightmares.

Dinah Mullans was a young girl who had dreams of becoming a famous singer. Her parents discovered her talent at the age of eight and hired a vocal coach to help establish her career. Inspired by her voice and beauty, the coach became physically attracted to her at the age of 15. During her debut at a concert in New York, Dinah walked off stage after a standing ovation and surprisingly was met by her coach, who had disguised himself as a woman, followed her to the ladies room and raped her.

Joey Golft loved Christmas. When he was four years of age, his father Nippy showered him with gifts and sometimes a trip to Paris, where his Aunt Florie resided. Joey’s uncle, Tome Golft, was always trying to convince Joey that Christmas was a hoax and on Christmas morning in the year 1970, at the age of 17, when Joey’s father was arrested and sent to prison for funds embezzlement from his Company, Tome Golft told Joey that it was because of Christmas his father was arrested.

Frederique Toenes was the pastor of a small vibrant church in Jonestown, Virginia. His wife Dorothy and their teenage daughter Merlene were not as committed as he was to the faith, so on several occasions, Dorothy stirred up confusion with accusations, both in the home and in the church. Merlene began an intimate relationship with a neighbor Mr. Seatone, whose daughter Eastlyn lived a miserable life, trying to take care of her mother who was in deep depression over her husband’s disloyalty to her.

All the characters I have written about are my biblical favorites. They were strong and Yahweh choose to use them in the time frame that they were to be used. For many of us, Yahweh is doing the same thing. He has chosen to speak to us and give us assignments which can be very critical. He may call us to rescue a nation, rescue a family or rescue children. Speak to Government officials or warn Presidents, all because he is Yahweh and he knows the end from the beginning. We are also his hands and feet in the earth so why argue with the almighty?

Paulette Ince becomes desperate when Kevin Pool, 18, denies ownership of her pregnancy. She takes matters in her own hands and visits Martha Frederick, a woman who seemingly had connections to a neighborhood abortion clinic and one of the doctors named Dr Small. She sets up an appointment for Paulette to have an abortion. The morning of the abortion, a prolife activist and sanitation worker, Steven Lier, 35, who lost his sister to a tragic abortion performed by Dr. Small, discovers the live discarded fetus in the trash. With his mother, he rushes it along to the local hospital.

Thomas Oexlley, son of a well-respected Christian family, chose to be a gambler and was always in trouble with his finances, causing much stress to his father. As time went by, he influenced Irwin Franella, the only son of a bed and breakfast owner, in the same bad habit. Mr. and Mrs. Franella began to experience the same problem the Oexlleys were experiencing with Thomas.

Jonathan Lier was a tall ruddy boy who miraculously survived an abortion. He grew up as the adopted son of Steven Lier and his mother. With the prayers of his schoolteacher and miraculous healings, Jonathan became first a star basketball player and then a renowned obstetrician. He finally reunited with his biological mother, who, like Jonathan, never gave up her quest for ownership.

Myse Delione was an adopted child who, when she was 10 years of age, began to share her thoughts with her adopted mother. “When I grow up, I will live in a big house with nice things, wear nice clothes and be a model for the world,” she would say to her mother every morning on her way to school. “Well you can’t, so forget about it,” her mother would respond, “and don’t ever let me hear you say that again.” “OK mama. I won’t,” Myse always replied.
