This is another version of the well-known tale concerning Table Mountain's blanket of clouds, known as the white tablecloth. This story originates from the early years when the Cape of Storms was still circumnavigated by sailing ships and the settlement at the Cape was a Dutch colony. It is retold here by Annari Van Der Mere.
