Love, Love, Loved This Remarkable Story & Listen🎧

This book is absolutely amazing, actually the entire series is amazing, and so are the Baker’s Creek billionaire brothers, aka, the Aldridge brothers. Claudia Burgoa is a gifted author and that gift shines throughout this entire series. The world building, character development and growth is fantastic and you can see how far the characters have come since the first book. Each book in this series featured a different brother in the lead and one of the many great things about this series is how different each book was from the other, not only is each brother their own person but they all had a different upbringings and backstories, basically a different brother and a different vibe. Though the banter between them has been consistent throughout the series and it lightened things up even in the hardest of times. This sixth book and brother is Vance’s story, he intrigued me from the moment he appeared in the first book with that wild entrance, he has been through a lot since then and I’ve looking forward to watch him find his person, his special someone, like all his other brothers have. Vance is the grumpiest of brothers possibly surpassing his brother Henry’s grumpiness, but then again with everything going on, his career in limbo, and it has had a rough few months for him, topping that off he carries guilt for what happened to Beacon despite his brothers telling him it was not his fault. Dr. Darren Russell is one of the best neurosurgeons in the states and just when he was contemplating moving away from San Francisco and his meddling family an old colleague, Hayes, asks him to join his practice in Bakers Creek and then head neuro in the new hospital they are building. He agrees to go check it out, and he falls in love with the small town charm, a bonus was the grump who greeted him, he saw drawn to Vance and he wanted to get to know him better, despite thinking he was straight and he enjoyed taunting him and getting under his skin. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is a wonderfully plotted story with the perfect balance of drama, heartfelt emotions, some angst, humor, and a fabulous romance. Besides the romance storyline, the Aldridge family get answers to their father’s intentions and personal life in a surprising twist that was well done. Claudia Burgoa, thank you for another fabulous story in this amazing series and the emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the exceptional narration, Aaron Shedlock and Teddy Hamilton did an amazing job voicing these characters, grasping their personality and performing their roles with a complete understanding of who they were, sounding believable and just as I pictured them to sound. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance and have you feeling every single one. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen.
