Story
Though I was born with the ability to see the dead, I struggled with it until my brother was killed and his ghost was left behind. Now, I’m determined to figure out who is responsible for his death…the problem is that Detective Maddox Booker, the one working the case, is a grumpy and stubborn man who wants nothing to do with me and definitely doesn’t believe in ghosts. It doesn’t help that I keep finding myself looking ridiculous in front of the detective, thanks to interfering ghosts who enjoy laughing at my expense.

Sure, my life isn’t going exactly according to plan - I have a degree that led nowhere, a crappy job as a closing-shift barista, and an ex who has everything I want and got it by dumping myself - but that doesn’t mean I’m willing to give up on living yet! And, holy crap, when I’m plucked off the sidewalk of my rural Colorado town on the very night of my ex’s wedding, I’m pretty damn sure I’m about to lose my life and a whole lot more. If you’ve never tried flying, I do not recommend the first time be when you’re drunk and alone at two in the morning.

“You are the savior of mankind” are the last words I ever expected to hear while nibbling on fries. The thing is, I’m not mankind saving material. I don’t even have magic (and just found out it exists). I’m the most boring, normal(ish) human ever. Suddenly, I’m being tossed right into the middle of a fight that started years before I was even born, and then I get partnered up with Alastair, a quirky magical Guardian. He is rather attractive and sweet when he’s not into the whole “woe is me, I can’t let myself fall in love with you” nonsense.

Story
After unknowingly saving the life of the crown prince with powers she's not supposed to have, Vhalla must make a choice: Embrace her sorcery and leave the quiet life she's known, or eradicate her magic entirely.
Summary
Fifteen years ago, Prince Graham of Ardglass barely escaped from the ancestral castle with his young life. Rescued by a magical creature and spirited off to a faraway valley, he grew into a strong, capable man - never shirking his duties on the farm, but forever bitter over his father’s betrayal. But just when he has finally come to terms with being lost and staying lost, a visitor arrives in his valley and changes everything.
After a lifetime spent lost in his beloved books, Prince Emory awakens to find his villainous aunt working to usurp the throne of Fontaine. When she sends him on a dangerous quest, he’s certain the journey is a trap, but he’s not willing to accept defeat without a fight.
But a fight is something Rory is unprepared and untrained for, until he’s saved by a handsome, unassuming farmhand and his snooty, smug, and surprisingly talkative unicorn.
Yours, Forever After now includes a bonus novella, completing Gray and Rory's magical quest for true love.

A wonderful fairytale!
Two years ago, I read the most amazing fairytale written by Beth Bolden. The plot was captivating and unique keeping me at the end of my seat the whole time, Emory and Graham are a sweet couple, that had to fight for the opportunity to be together by overcoming the evil threatening their future and finding their own happily ever after all with the help of a snarky unicorn as every decent fairytale needs to have. Loving so much the ebook, it was wonderful to discover the book was made into an audiobook. Brennan Rossi made an amazing job in narrating the story with a very beautiful voice, great acting skills and and agile reading. A perfect way to read and reread this lovely story. Simply wonderful!

A thrilling magical adventure and sweet romance
I adored Gray and Rory's magical journey the first time I read it, and listening to the audio was a real treat! Brennan did a fantastic job bringing these characters to life, and I really loved the way he narrated their story.
Gray and Rory were characters I easily connected with, and it didn't take long for me to be invested in their romance. Gray's reserved, grumpy attitude was understandable given the way he was forced to grow up, but it still made me sad to see how he tried to push everyone away. Watching him warm up to Rory was really sweet, and I loved how Rory never gave up on him. Their relationship progressed slowly, over shared meals and long stretches of time alone, but it was still exciting to see the two of them grow closer as their adventure continued. Theirs wasn't the most explosive, passionate romance, but the softer, sweeter pace felt fitting for the men they were. In addition to the slow build of their affections, Rory and Gray had a really exciting quest to embark on. I was eager to see how they would manage to defeat Sabrina after all she'd done to their kingdoms, and despite all my guesses I still didn't get it right. I was thrilled to see Rory and Gray emerge victorious, but beyond that I loved getting to see the two of them tackle the last of their relationship issues and feel secure in their future together.

A beautiful, epic tale of love and magic!
Two princes, each lost in their own way, find their way to their future and love.
I loved how Rory, though naïve at times, finds the strength t fight for his rightful place on the throne. And the way Gray, finds his way back into the real world and away from the valley where he had hidden himself for years.
Together they fight evil magical creatures and even more evil relatives.

A story As Old Of Time.
MM, Fantasy, Paranormal, Adventure, Romance. Two Prince's from neighbouring Kingdoms fated to meet and join forces against the Evil that has affected both of their lives for so many years. Prince Graham of Ardglass has remained hidden for his own safety for 15 years and the young Prince Emory, heir to the throne of Fontaine has innocently been kept unaware of what is going on around him but now the time has come for them to fight for themselves and their Kingdoms. Fantastic story that has twists and turns throughout and held me captive for over 12 hours!. Action and adventure with some magic and mystery, I cannot fault this story, brilliantly written with a guaranteed HEA. This would of been a multiple 5 star review however ATM there are some narration and editing issues that need to be sorted out. I have been in touch with the author and she is contacting the narrator for these issues to be corrected. This is a 5 star story and I loved it and I look forward to listening to it again in the near future.

A Well Deserved Happy Ever After
Yours, Forever After is a delightful fairytale romance complete with a talking unicorn, a lost prince, and a prince betrayed by his own blood relative. Yours, Forever After used a lot of common fairytale tropes: secret identity, bad parenting, lost parents, magical creatures, and of course, true love—which Beth Bolden weaves into a unique and sweet romance. There is a lot of action and suspense, as well as humor and some steamy intimate moments. The epilogue novella that was added to the book was fantastic. It felt like an extension of the story and I really enjoyed the wedding and all its drama.
The audiobook was narrated by Brennan Rossi, a new-to-me narrator who did a decent job with the book. There’s room for some audio production improvement, but the book was still really enjoyable to listen to and I liked how Brennan voiced the characters. I had no trouble following along with the story and could easily tell the characters apart based on Brennon’s performance. I will definitely listen to more audiobooks narrated by Brennan, and I’m looking forward to more stories from Beth Bolden.

A fairytale to behold
Beth Bolden is a known author to me but this was a completely different book for me from here contemporary mm writings.
This book is such a wonderful treat in the fantasy mm genre. This story/ fairytale has it all a king who betrays his son, Graham/ Gary, an evil regent aunt who wants to get write of the legitimate heir, Emory/ Rory, a unicorn, a magic sword and a quest. Gary an Rory of Course get their HEA.
The book starts full on in an action scene which drew me straight in and did not let me go till I reached the end. I really appreciate that the additional novella (part 2) is included in which we follow both men when Rory is preparing to officially take the throne about six months after the initial book ends. That story includes a great twist which holds on till almost the end.
The narration by Brennan Rossi is so well done, characters are very distinctive. Pacing and the flow are complimentary to the original book. They are a new narrator to me and I am looking forward to more work by them.
This audiobook was given to me and I was asked to write an honest review

So so so good
This was excellent, the storyline, the narration and certainly the characters. This is a fairytale told the right way and I am so glad that I listened to it. There are bits of humour and heat and best of all there is also a strong relationship. I loved the snark and I’m certainly going to be looking for more books by Beth Bolden.
The narrator i found to be very good I liked the pacing and found it easy to distinguish who was who as the story progressed.

Enjoyable high fantasy
I really enjoyed this high fantasy, slow burn romance. Two princes, one lost and one naive, are destined to be together. With the help of a unicorn king, Gray and Rory go on an epic journey to regain their thrones and finally put a stop to an evil sorceress's plans. I liked the pacing of the story. Gray and Rory had to go on a journey of selfdiscovery as well as finding love with each other. Full of adventure, magic, feelings, and a sprinkle of humor. Brennan Rossi is a new to me narrator. He did a great job voicing the characters. Each voice was distinct and fit well with their character's description.

Good characters and romance arc
Yours, Forever After is a character-driven fantasy story with a lot of heart. Graham was forced to leave his home to escape the whims of a bloodthirsty sorceress. Rory found himself nearly victim to the same sorceress, but inexplicably rescued by the taciturn Graham. Add one pushy unicorn and some tough warrior women, and the result is an entertaining love story between a world-weary prince and his sheltered counterpart. I listened to the audiobook, and while it took awhile to get into, I found myself drawn in by the characters and their romance arc. If you like your fantasy with lots of character development and a bit lighter on the action, this is a great choice.

Wonderful adult MM fairy tale
Never judge a book by its cover, isn't that the saying? I did though, I totally judged this book by its cover because it has to be one of my ten top favorite covers of all time. Having pre-judged, I'm going to let you know that the book did not disappoint. Once again, this is an audiobook that I'm listening to after having read the book. I'm really digging this way of being able to compare my initial take on a story and then seeing the difference it makes by listening to someone else tell it. There really is a difference too! Sometimes it's subtle and other times it's like... whoa... is this the same story? For me, I think this book fell into the middle of that spectrum.
Super engaging from the start, it had my attention from the initial scene that has MC Graham in a dire situation, fighting to escape with his life. It just got better from there. Once Rory, (the Autumn Prince) enters the picture things got really interesting. I loved both MCs. They were uniquely different, and in uniquely different places in life; yet had similar backgrounds. They worked perfectly together.
With wonderful world building, adventures, a grand quest, lots of drama and intrigue. Grey and Rory have more than just evil to overcome. The characters were surprisingly deep and I truly felt all the emotions and hard won acceptance and love while the romance was helped along with a meddlesome unicorn.
I loved this adult fairy tale as an e-book and as an audio.
Brennan Rossi, is a new to me narrator. I enjoyed his version of this story. He emotes well and was interesting to listen to.

Gray and Rory
This was quite the story. Gray and Rory had such different experiences in their upbringings but the same person is the reason for their problems. They didn’t really get off on the right foot but found common ground and got past their differences and overcame their fears. I was glad to be able to see them happy and in love even when they are dealing with other nobles and all the stress that comes with running a kingdom.

Yours, Forever After is a wonderfully written story about Prince Graham, the lost prince, and Prince Rory, the autumn prince. I loved Gray and Rory's journey. It wasn't an easy one but it was so worth it in the end. This magical story is action packed as Rory and Gray fight for their birth right. This is definitely a book I'll listen to again and again.
Narrator Brennan Rossi does a marvelous job. I look forward to hearing more from him.

Wonderful fantasy story with excellent narration!
Fantasy is not a genre I typically read but I loved this fantastical fantasy adventure by Beth Bolden. Grey and Rory were such different people even though they had much the same upbringing for the first ten years of their lives. I loved hearing about the life that Grey had built for himself but it was sad to hear just how lonely he had been until Rory shows up. Rory was such a sweet soul who seemingly would not be able to survive their quest but truly was so strong. I had a love/hate relationship with Everard! I get why he was evasive with his help but sometimes I just wanted to yell at him to be more specific. The storyline was wonderful and I loved the intricate world created by Beth Bolden! Beth is one of my favorite authors and it was so fun to read her work in a totally different genre from the rest of her books. One of my favorite aspects of this book was the narration! Brennan Rossi is a new to me narrator and I will certainly be looking for more of their work in the future as I just loved their voice! They were a joy to listen to as the story unfolded and really brought the characters to life for me. I loved this book and cannot wait for the sequel to be published! Highly recommended!

I almost gave up...
...because of the narrator, who never grew on me. I'm glad I didn't because, despite his lackluster efforts, the story is pretty good overall. Unbeknownst to them, Prince Graham, aka Gray, and Prince Emory, aka Rory, each embarks upon a journey that will bring them not only to each other but also to the royal end that has been foretold for them. The way forward is not always clear, the dangers are manifold, and their guide for the journey is often exasperating but always right. The world-building is nicely handled and the almost medieval feel of the story is well rendered, although the obvious question raised by the way Gray overcomes the two magical bad guys is never answered (unless I missed it?). Is HE the conduit for the magic that defeats them? I wish I could say the narration was as well done, but frankly, I found the actor to be less than engaging. His performance was flat, mostly unimaginative, and sometimes fumbling. To be fair, his rendering of Gray is probably the best thing about his performance, and I could certainly hear the differences between the two MCs as well as Everard and Rory's aunt.

Falling in love with an old favorite once again
It was a little over two years ago when I first read Beth Bolden's Yours, Forever After, and it became one of my top reads for 2019. So, when I learned that there was an audio book that was finally available, I knew I simply had to listen to it. Read by Brennan Rossi, who is a new-to-me narrator, this M/M fantasy romance was still as wondrous a tale as when I perused it in 2019. Reliving the adventure I went on with the Lost Prince, the Autumn Prince, and a supercilious unicorn moonlighting as a matchmaker was the highlight of my weekend. I said it before, and I'll say it again: one can never be too old for fairy tales, and all I had to do was sit back with my headphones on and have Rossi tell me the beautiful story penned by Bolden. Witty and romantic, Yours, Forever After gave me my aural fix and then some. While the story was a familiar and well-loved one, having the opportunity to listen to it this time around, was like reliving all that awesomeness and falling in love with the story all over again. Five-plus stars!

Interesting storyline!
This was an interesting storyline. This fairytale has it's own unique twists and keeps the listener wondering what will happen next! The narrator is new to me but did an admirable job.
