About this listen
Forty-five minutes of yogic sleep can feel like several hours of regular sleep. Two-in-one meditation with 432 Hz music and a free bonus meditation without music.
This 50-minute Yoga Nidra deep relaxation meditation is ideal:
- If you didn't sleep well
- If you are looking for a deep relaxation after a stressful day at work
- If you'd like to manifest an intention/longing or lessen your anxiety
- If you're looking for physical, mental, and emotional well-being
- If you'd like to feel rejuvenated
- Or if you want to get a boost of energy to tackle your day
Yoga Nidra allows you to experience a deeply relaxed daydream state of consciousness between wakefulness and sleep. This meditation will guide you through eight steps: intention setting, sound, body, breath and thought awareness, creative visualization, gratitude, and surrender.
Your entire body, mind, and nervous system will gently get guided to a coherent state of deep relaxation, as your brain-wave activity will lower to alpha, delta, or theta brain frequencies, triggering the relaxation response and the functioning of your nervous and endocrine system.
If you allow your mind to calm and your body to let go, you should come out from this Yoga Nidra deep relaxation session with a sense of physical, mental, and emotional well-being, feeling relaxed and well-rested, at peace, and rejuvenated to master your day.

Ideal.
This is one of a set of four well-balanced meditation recordings which were obviously carefully written. They are also read superbly, without any of the daft 'woo-oo' intonations so prolific in other examples of this genre (especially when saying the words 'time' or 'mind").
I meditate daily, but I do not practice yoga. The only other time I have heard about Yoga Nidra was when reading/listening to "The Book of Rest", by James Reeves and Gabrielle Brown. Indeed, it was the word Nidra in the title which led me to try thess audiobooks.
What a find.
I immediately went into Alpha waves, with bucolic images which I regularly experience during my daily meditations, although not every time.
The language used is plain, down-to-earth and even humorous. My only slight objection was the use of the word tummy, but that is a personal pet peeve of mine and no reflection on the author.
I have purchased the other recordings in the series, which together are sensibly of thirty, forty, fifty and sixty minute's length. I can see these becoming useful occasional accompaniments to my daily relaxation practice.
