About this listen
Thesis: China’s economic, technological, and military hyperpower has reached an all-time high. This power is based upon decades of intense government spending, military build-up, cyber and intellectual property breaches of other sovereign nations—foremost the US and its allies—and a hegemonic dictator for life Xi Jinping yielding unparalleled control, comparable to the era of Mao Tse Tung.
As such, the Chinese Community Party led by Xi has rapidly become the number one existential threat to the United States. A clear and present danger not seen since the days of the Third Reich. Two powerful, yet opposite worldviews are on a collision course: Freedom and democracy versus authoritarian communism.
A clarion call: The aim of this book is to sound the alarm and alert the common citizens and government-military leaders of the US and the free, peace-loving nations worldwide of this clear and present global danger posed by Xi and his community regime. The fate of the US and democracy lies in the balance. Immediate and intensive counter-measures are needed now at all levels of society to preserve freedom and safety. Yes indeed, our very way of life is in serious jeopardy.
Disclaimer: Let us be abundantly clear. The common people of the US and China have much to gain through strong and positive business, economic, and cultural ties. Nevertheless, the downward spiral in military, intelligence, and cybersecurity relations have led the two nations to a state of mutual distrust and enmity.
The situation in the Indo-Pacific region is described as a moment of reckoning for the region's security order, as the old order fades and a new one emerges. Maintaining a military presence in the Asia-Pacific region has been a key part of the post-World War II security order that the US has led, and now the US and China are in a new era of competition that could threaten regional security.
May we all pray for peace.
