A work of pure genius
'Catherine Earnshaw, may you not rest as long as I am living. You said I killed you--haunt me then. The murdered do haunt their murderers. I believe--I know that ghosts have wandered the earth. Be with me always--take any form--drive me mad. Only do not leave me in this abyss, where I cannot find you! Oh, God! It is unutterable! I cannot live without my life! I cannot live without my soul!'
This works needs no review it is astounding. Even if you care nothing for the brutal and obsessive love story at its core then listen purely for the beauty of the landscape description. From Thrushcross Park over the moors past Wuthering Heights to Pennistone Crags it is wild, raw and pure undiluted passion both beautiful and loving but also toxic and destructive.
Listen/read this book! It is like nothing else!
(Narration is top quality the accents are realistic and the reading is done with conviction. The duel narration is also a really nice touch.)

difficult to get into it
the First half of the book Is very odd. I found It difficult to get attached to the characters. I enjoyed much more the second half.

This is an excellent narration of a great classic. Certainly the best version of Wuthering Hieghts in audio format that I've encountered.

No wonder it's a classic
If you haven't read this classic, you're missing out. Cleverly written, and the two narrators carry off the storytelling in a way that makes the story come alive.

Haunting story, wonderfully told!
I've known the story of Wuthering Heights for many years and when I saw it as an audiobook, I decided to listen to it all over again and this version did not disappoint. I loved the dual narration as it really brought the text to life. The story is, I think, well known and this presentation did it full justice!

Great Narration
The narration is really good, believable accents & good pace. Glad I chose this reading. The story itself seemed duller than when I first read it 30 years ago, I suspect that's more to do with me being jaded than the book though. Still a must read book.
