Summary
You don't have to be a wolf to show your claws, but it helps.
My five boyfriends - yes, five - are being much too patient with me. That's pissing a few people off. It seems that when living with a pack of wolves, there are certain expectations for the alpha's mate...and I suck at this. A few months ago, I had no idea shifters even existed! I just wanted a safe home, and this is it, although it's not at all what I imagined. When an ex-girlfriend decides to make my life a living hell, pack rules say that if I want to keep my place, I need to win my own fights. That's not easy when she's young, fit, beautiful, and a wolf. And I'm not.
But with the help of a few friends, a little medical advice, and a whole lot of pent-up sexual frustration, one thing is going very, very well. Five boyfriends really are better than one. I just have to balance them with my child and these new pack responsibilities.
Because, this was my second chance. I'd intended to learn how to be strong, but I was thinking more about having my own opinions and less about dominance challenges. I should be focusing on the bully picking on my daughter at school. The pack's children are being singled out by some kid, and that is a problem, but this woman will not leave me alone!
If I want to be strong, I need to stop letting others push me around. It's time for the claws to come out.
The Wolves Next Door series contains some profanity, consensual sex, and one adult woman who falls for multiple younger men.

Loving the series. Thought book was a little slow but book 2 is much better. Going straight into book 3.

ok
I like the general storyline & the characters but it's the writing that became annoying for me. The repetition of sentences like "just a little too much" etc. was aggravating. It's also drawn out & needs a good editing. It's as though the writer forgot what had happened in the story or what the characters were talking about. If you want something that's fairly easy to listen to & you don't have to be clued in all the time....this is the book for you.

A bit too drawn out... plot boring
Liked the first book and thought main character would be more laid back but was not. Plot lacked excitement and the whole story-line was full of too much nonsense angst. Kept falling asleep...
As anything read by Aiden Snow - the performance is brilliant. He is one of my favorite narrator.

Brilliant
This may sound strange, but looking past the RH, this is about acceptance, friendship, love and family. Elena’s wish to be her true self, whatever that may be. Excellent continuation from book 1 with more depth into the other characters. Looking forward to book 3.

Brilliant
I’m new to audible and I’m a big fan of supernatural stuff. I’ve loved the first book and even more the second so now I’m excited for book 3. What will I do when it’s all over. I just want it to go on forever.

I nearly returned this it was so boring at first. There’s some high points towards the end and it’s not terrible.

Wolf's Call
This is a fantastic follow on story, staying with the human trying to help her daughter's rash decisions of becoming a wolf, whether to follow her or not. With her divorce still to happen, the custody of her daughter, and the lack of care of time he seems to show her. The there is getting to know the rest of the pack, and finding out how she can help them and what might be expected of her. With all this going on in the back grand you have all the relationship she has to get a handle with, love, fights and confusion all the way. Read brilliantly again by Aaron Shedlock, Lola James, Widen Snow and Gomez Pugh.
