Summary

Have you ever made a life-changing decision before wondering if you made the right one...?

When Liv and Nate walked up the aisle, Liv knew she was marrying the one, her soul mate and her best friend. Six years later, it feels like routine and friendship are all they have left in common. What happened to the fun, the excitement, the lust, the love?

In the closing moments of 1999, Liv and Nate decide to go their separate ways, but at the last minute, Liv wavers. Should she stay or should she go? Over the next twenty years, we follow the parallel stories to discover if Liv's life, heart, and future have been better with Nate... Or without him?

Perfect for the fans of Jojo Moyes, Lucy Diamond and Marian Keyes.

Shari lives in Glasgow and writes a weekly opinion column and Book Club page for a well known newspaper. She is married to a very laid-back guy and has two athletic teenage sons, who think she's fairly embarrassing, except when they need a lift.

Totally ruined!!!

Don’t buy this until they sort the last chapters!!!!!!
I’m so disappointed- it was a great story and do well written but completely ruined by the final 45 minutes. So many issues with the final chapters cutting off before they were finished and randomly starting again 3 or 4 minutes in. Please please sort it out

PROBLEMS WITH AUDIO ON LAST 3 CHAPTERS

I’m going to lead with this because it’s lost on the end of some of the other reviews. The last few, important chapters just cut off before they’ve finished and then start again from that same chapter, then jumping ahead again. So basically you kind of have to presume what happened in the end. Had I known this then I wouldn’t have bought it as it was very frustrating.
However, it was a great story overall, funny in places, sad in others. And as always the narration was excellent!!

another Brilliant Book by Shari Low

a very cleverly written Book, a very emotional book , but as with all of Shari's Books, another great story.
I also love Helen mcalpine she is a brilliant Narrator

just to say to Audible, the last 3 chapters, which were the most important one's, kept skipping ahead. and didn't get to hear the last 10 minutes...

I wasn’t sure about the concept at first but this book is amazing. I laughed and I cried and the characters were brilliant. Another fabulous book by a fabulous author.

Technical issues in Part Two / Chapters 36, 37, 38

I was ready to give a great review for this book, and was excited when Part II started. It was an interesting way to write the book. I also loved the narrator's performance.

However, listeners must be warned about the repeating of half of three chapters, with at least two of them never completing, in Part II. How this wasn't caught before releasing to Audible I'll never know.

Do not waste a credit on this first release. I can't finish the book with having to guess for the next half a chapter how the previous one ended since it was cut off.

Just ok

The book was easy and a nice distraction. But there were areas where the narrator and characters really got on my nerves.

The real thing to be warned about is the skipping /repeating technical problems the audio version had.
