Summary
Alandra Michaels is your everyday, run-of-the-mill, ordinary witch. She doesn't have an affinity for an element, like her sister. She can't speak to the dead, like her mother. Charming
I do not usually go for fantasy but enjoyed this imaginative listen very much. It was a rare treat to have two narrators for a f/f romance. They were great and really brought the story, and all its characters, to life.

What a wonderfully original story with a lovely blend of family drama, sinister villains, witches and celestial beings and romance. I really look forward to Poppy Wood’s next novel though I do hope Melissa Moran will have bigger narration role as she is great.

A love story and fantasy all in one
I read this some time back and really enjoyed it and having it narrated gave an extra enjoyment. such wonderful writing and great narration too

This is AWESOME, reminds me of Slouch Witch
This is AWESOME, reminds me of the Slouch Witch series. I wish its a fully explored world/universe. The sci fi fan in me wishes that they use magic to manufacture SPACESHIPS so humans and witches can explore the universe. Anyway, that part about Witches "not supposed to even exist in the human realm", dude, you cant just drop that info without further explanations pls. MOAR BOOKS pls.

Easy listening
It’s an easy listen when you’re working, the voice of Luna made me squirm a little bit and perhaps the dialogue had too much eye rolling in the beginning. The characters are a little under-developed and I did manage to guess “who done it” - but I enjoyed the story, main characters had good chemistry though it got a little mushy too soon for me - would listen to the 2nd book if there was one.
