Summary
"Elsie Silver's writing is a true revelation!" ALI HAZELWOOD
Small-town, big characters, four addictive love stories . . . meet the single dads of Rose Hill's recreational bowling team. Perfect for fans of steamy romance, Lucy Score, and Elsie's smash hit Chestnut Springs series.
____
She's been driving him wild for years . . . the good kind of wild.
The kind of wild that comes with wanting your best friend's little sister and knowing you can't have her.
Forbes may have labeled Ford Grant the World's Hottest Billionaire, but all he cares about is escaping the press and opening a recording studio in gorgeous small town Rose Hill. Something that comes to a screeching halt when he ends up face-to-face with a young girl who claims he's her biological father. Now, he spends his days balancing business with parenting a sullen twelve-year-old, all while trying desperately to keep his hands the hell off his best friend's sister, Rosie Belmont.
After living in the city, Rosie came blasting back into town like a storm. Beautiful, messy, and chaotic. And one wide-eyed, desperate plea for a job is all it takes for Ford to hire her. He vows to keep her at arm's length. Tries to stick to scowls and grumpy one-liners. But with her, verbal sparring is a type of foreplay―friction that soon turns to blistering heat.
Ford knows damn well he shouldn't cross this line. But shouldn't and can't are two very different things.
And the only thing he truly can't do is resist her.

just WOW
Ms Silver goes it again, this is one amazing story, small town romance between Ford & Rosie slight age gap, and in great Elsie Silver style, so hot!! Nice to see a character from chestnut springs Willa come into the story too. The 12 year old child Cora is so sweet, funny and calculating, trying to get these two main characters together.
This is turning out to be one of Elsie Silvers best books, such a funny, witty story.
Narration is right up there, where Vanessa Edwin & Zachary Webber bring the characters and humor to full blown life, There is just no way, by reading the book you'd get the sounds as well as these narrators reading the story to you, its like watching a film with full blown actors, only in your head.
Amazing story
Amazing narrators
Take a bow Ms Silver, your mind is truly genius

I don't even know how to explain how Elsie's books make me feel 💫
every single book of Elsie's so far has been a complete masterpiece. I couldn't you a fault if I tried and just like everyone said, Ford Grant is a fictional character I will never forget. But you know what my favourite thing about this entire book was? it was seeing none other Willa Grant make her appearance in the book 😆😆😆 I swear my jaw dropped and I literally needed a second on multiple occasions throughout this book to just stare jaw dropped at the turn of events. I absolutely love you Elsie!! 💞❤️💕

Enjoyable!
Interesting - this book is currently 3rd on the Sunday Times fiction paperback bestseller list.
Although I loved the sweet hero, I really cannot see how the book merits the no 3 spot.
As usual, the child characters Elsie portrays are wonderful.
Narration is good, especially in the second half of the book.

No one does small town romances better than Elsie
4.5 ⭐️ Ford freaking Grant everyone….
Elsie Silver does it again! A different take on a single dad romance and I was hooked from the get go. The tension?? The slow burn?? The pining??? I’m OBSESSED
X marks the spot has taken on a whole new meaning 😏
The audiobook narration was also impeccable - Vanessa Edwin and Zachary Webber can do no wrong in my eyes and they played the perfect Rosie and Ford.

Book cover
I pre-ordered this book and I regret wasting my credit. The story was nothing new except it’s been executed wayyyy better by other authors. The male narrator aggravated me the most, he read the book like he was tired and couldn’t be bothered. I found his POV monotone and personally that ruined the deep emotional and physical scenes. The female narrator carried the book. A for effort.
