Top 40 Amazon Best Seller

From Wall Street Journal best-selling author Giana Darling comes an age gap, forbidden romance between an ex-con MC President and the daughter of the town’s mayor....

I was a good girl.
I ate my vegetables, volunteered at the local autism centre, and sat in the front pew of church every Sunday.
Then, I got cancer.
What the hell kind of reward was that for a boring life well lived?
I was a 17-year-old paradigm of virtue, and I was tired of it.
So, when I finally ran into the man I'd been writing to since he saved my life as a little girl and he offered to show me the dark side of life before I left it for good, I said yes.
Only, I didn't know that Zeus Garro was the President of The Fallen MC and when you made a deal with a man who is worse than the devil, there was no going back....

This is Zeus Garro's story from Lessons In Corruption. A stand-alone in The Fallen Men Series.

Love, love, LOVE Lou and Zeus!

Ooooof. Loulou and Zeus' tale is something else. Intense, emotional and deliciously taboo and filthy. A sexy, take-no-prisoners, protective and possessive alpha male and a feisty, sassy, strong heroine that know what they want and are willing to fight for that tooth and nail, no matter how painful at times. To say I loved every single second of the ride is a total understatement.

The fact that Zeus is brought to life by Jason Clarke, one of my absolute favorite narrators, is only icing on the sinful cake. Desiree Ketchum as Loulou was amazing as well. A well-rounded, emotional, multi-faceted performance that only enhanced this intense story.

Great Narration

I loved the narration of this novel. It was fantastic to hear some of my favorite characters come to life and their voices were perfect. I experienced the chemistry and tension on a different level even though I knew where the story was going.

W O W

Giana has such a beautiful writing style. Some of the story is harsh and gritty but the words she uses literally feed my soul 💗.
I love how she finds beauty in flaws.
The fallen men are definitely my favourite series, I’ve read all her books, and was wondering how the narrators would manage to portray the characters I have come to love. They did a brilliant job and really bought them to life. I know I will listen to this time and again. Thank you Giana

Okay… but Something was missing

Good biker story, great age gap…. buuut
I felt like something was missing. Especially some detailed smut. When you write more details about a funeral 😭 then the smut, it’s just not dying it for me…
Sorry a wanted so much to love this one

Fanfreakingtastic!!!!

I skipped this book for so long because I was afraid of the Cancer aspect but I was so wrong. Cancer doesn't ruin this book it makes the book! So if you're avoiding because you think the cancer makes it too sad or not sexy, trust me when I tell u to just go for it. You'll be glad you did. Zeus and LouLou became one of my favorite age gap couples, I love that you get so much raw and gritty mc life with it. Im amazed that Giana Darling managed to avoid all the things I hate about romance, no skipping years to make LouLou older, no making Zues a sap, and many more. Jason Clarke is one of my favorite narrators and he killed it and sounded sexy af doing it but for me Desiree Ketchum embodied little Lou and made her come to life. Worth a credit I'll definitely listen to it multiple times

Perfect narration

I really liked this story. I didn’t listen to the first book because it was narrated by only a female. This is a MC series and I know there are a couple of women narrators that don’t do well for men voices, so I didn’t want to waste a credit. But I love Troy Duran so I bought the third book. I hope it’s as good as this one.

I dont understand all the glowing reviews....

About 3.5 hour in and i just couldn't take it anymore. First - she is 17 years old! I like age gap stories, h*ll my significant other is 16 years older than me, but a 17 year old and late 30s?!?! Perhaps i could have gotten over how young she is (i googled the age of consent in Canada) if her experiences lead to maturity and depth in her that allowed for a serious relationship with an older man (not that an older man would necessarily means he is smarter). But she is annoying, immature, self centered 17 year old, having a hormonally induced hissy fit. And also... she is dealing with cancer, she is out all night 3 nights per week at a strip joint, volunteering, getting straight As, still taking ballet classes.... and let me remind you all of this while having cancer. And in general, the whole premise of this book is so far fetched, the storyline is completely unbelievable, the setting is such a cartoonish MC story. I was hoping for some depth, some angst, in stead i got this clusterf*ck. Don't waste a credit, if you want a story with some depth, with adults all around, i suggest Kristen Ashley's Chaos MC series.

The only positive i can mention is Jason Clark's narration. Love his voice

MC, age gap PERFECTION!

This is Giana Darling’s BEST writing to date. Zeus and LouLou’s story is not one I’d usually pick up due to the 19 year age gap but I’m telling you it worked so well and Giana is a brilliant writer when it comes to the age gaps trope! There was nothing about it that felt wrong. It was beautifully developed and from the moment he rescues her from the time she was a little girl he became her protector and an unbreakable bond was formed. I adored the letter writing between Lou & Zeus and their sweet friendship was formed. At a young age LouLou was diagnosed with cancer. She beats it and by the time she is 17 years old she is a fiery, confident, sassy young woman that had to grow up way to fast fighting her cancer and fending for herself because of two parents that barely paid attention to her and were more worried about high society life than their own daughter.

The love, passion and intimacy between LouLou and Zeus was next level! It is unique, beautiful and so perfect for them. The spice level in this book is top notch. Some of the hottest, steamiest scenes I’ve EVER read.

By the end of Lessons in Corruption I was left feeling a little disappointed in the action. It was very meek for an MC book. When I pick up an MC book I except there to be suspense, action, murder and mayhem and wow did Giana step it up in this one! There was so much going on. Trust and loyalty within the club’s members was put into question, a kidnapping, heavy violence and danger at every turn. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire book! I cannot wait for Zeus’ daughter Harleigh Rose’s book next! I already know I’m in for an intense angsty ride and I am READY!

Jason Clarke and Desiree Ketchum narrate this book and their voices perfectly depict these characters. I couldn’t get enough of Jason Clarke with his sexy growl and rasp and the way his voice bleeds all the emotions, whether lust, love, loyalty, danger, fear or protection I felt it ALL! Desiree did a phenomenal job voicing LouLou. Her pitch, tone and delivery was spot on. I loved the way she changes the pitch of her voice when voicing a young LouLou versus her present age. This story is utter perfection. The writing and the narration was superbly done and would give this more than five stars if I could!

ALL The Feels!!

I was excited about this book when I was only halfway through the first one of the series. I’m not at all disappointed! It was so good! Be prepared, it will take you through all the emotions at one point or other.
The narrators did well and the storyline continues and gets better from the last book. Definitely worth the credit!

Epic age gap romance!

When I saw Welcome to the Dark Side had an audiobook, I freaked! I am obsessed with this series and this book in particular. Jason Clarke and Desiree Ketchum did a fantastic job bringing Zeus and LouLou to life!

Zeus and LouLou have an interesting start to their relationship. They start out as friends, penpals, and with much time, it becomes more. I know some people are going to have an issue with the nineteen year age gap, but it didn’t bother me at all. I mean, yeah in real life, but this is fiction and I’m totally here for it in my books.

I loved how much Lou and Zeus loved each other. I never ever questioned their love or loyalty. He was her monster and she was his angel and I loved them so much together. I also loved Zeus’s family and there were moments I cried buckets and others I was so happy- this one was an emotional rollercoaster and this review is really rambley… but all I really want to say is I loved this book so much and I highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a great biker romance

The kind of MC Prez you want

Zeus Garro - we met him is Lessons in Corruption as the leader of the Fallen MC and a man that will do whatever it takes to protect his family and theirs.

Louise Lafayette - portrayed before as the good girl who does everything right and has been dealt a shitty hand with childhood cancer.

But they are so much more together. We start this story when Louise is 7 and Zeus is 26, before he was the Prez of the Fallen. He was just a patched member trying to right the wrong direction he saw his club falling into. While doing that Louise became collateral - and he became her guardian monster.

Cue some prison pen pal action that spans not only the 3(ish) years Zeus is incarcerated but also the following 7 to when Louise grows up and in love with Zeus.

Overall I don't have a problem with age gap, really I love them when they are done right. But for me this one just didn't land right. I love that they both found love, but the continual reminder of their intense age gap (plus his desire to call her 'little girl' when being dirty) just rubbed me wrong. At some point I had to stop my listening to the narration by the GREAT Jason Clarke and Desiree Ketchum since I couldn't physically listen to that pet name.

I stuck through because of the other plot lines, Mute, and the beautiful and rich characters Giana creates in this world in Entrance, BC. I won't tell you not to read this, just do it knowing what you're getting into.

The motorcycle romance novel to end all motorcycle romance.

Giana Darling has the uncanny ability to turn the most mundane words into poetry. Welcome to the Dark Side is more than just an age gap story with some biker thrown in. It truly is the pivotal example that love transcends. It over comes age, society norms, social differences and death itself.

“The first seventeen years of my life, I fasted. I kept my body clean and my spirit pure. Now, I wanted to feast like a glutton, spread lust on my breakfast toast, shoot violence and sip greed. And I want you to teach me, sinner man, because you're the only man for the job.”

Zeus and LouLou relationship can be summed with how they meet. In a hail of gunfire outside a church. The shared bullet wound they receive that day will forever link them. LouLou is the granddaughter of a preacher, daughter of the mayor, and a good girl battling cancer, when Zeus the president of an outlaw motorcycle club, nineteen years her senior enters her life, killing the man that shot her.

Giana weaves the development of their relationship overtime through letters, in which Zeus provides LouLou the only form of tenderness and support she has received from adult figures in her life. Totally ignored and neglected from her parents LouLou's love for her guardian monster is unyielding.

At seventeen, LouLou is trying to break free the shackles of her life and finally enjoy whatever life she has left. Zeus reenters the picture after years of ignoring her. We get to see LouLou's feelings develop from childhood superhero fascination to pure womanly devotion. The two of them together is beyond sexy. LouLou as his good little girl and Zeus as her corrupter will set your kindle on fire. I can never look at a lollipop the same. Just saying!

Can the outlaw and the mayor's daughter find their HEA, or at least their version of it? With all the obstacles they have in their way, as the reader you better hold on for the ride.

“With or without me, Loulou Lafayette was going over to the dark side.”

I truly have never encounter more beautiful writing, than this story right here.

Loved it

Loved this story. I was on the edge of my seat. I couldn't wait to have Zeus's story after meeting him in Lessons in Corruption. Giana Darling did a wonderful job on Welcome to the Dark Side. The story was very well written, it had a amazing plot, the story was filled with so many emotions, it'll take you on an emotional rollercoaster. I know I was, my heart was crushed, I couldn't stopped the tears from falling even if I tried. This is the first story that has ever brought tears and I have read thousands of stories, a lot of sad ones too but this one broke me. So beware you'll need tissues.
Zeus and LouLou were strong characters, both have been through a lot in their life, both are leaders and fighters. Lou and Zeus are fierce, they were bonded straight from the beginning. I really enjoyed Zeus and LouLou together. They were good for each other. The connection between them was strong, it was intense and the chemistry was off the chart sizzling. They were just perfect together. I would have to say LouLou and Zeus are my favorite characters, I really enjoyed a lot of the characters in this story. One though, I fell hard for and that was Mute, he was perfect. He had a kind heart, he was loyal, caring and very protective. Loved Loulou and Mute's relationship, they are the best of friends. Loved the piggyback and how he played with her hair all the time. Loulou had two perfect men that would do anything to keep her safe and loved. Loved the deep bound with the other MC characters, they are truly family.
This was a Fantastic story. I highly recommend this book and the series. They're a 5 Stars. Giana Darling is a Wonderful Author. I would have to say one of favorites.
Jason Clarke and Desiree Ketchum did a great job on the Narrating, the performance was clear and well spoked, it was a great Audiobook.
Thank you, Giana Darling. Wonderful work :) 5 Stars!
R. I. P. Walker. You will be forever missed and loved :(
