Over use.

Loving this series of book's so far, although I definitely think having Mr Bray on board to narrate has helped by a long way.
The only real issue I have with the book's is the over use of the detail of what size ammunition is being used during every battle, ex forces might like this but your average sci fi reader or listener no so much, but that's just my own personal observation.
Anyway apart from that it's a great series so far and looking forward to hearing the next installment.

Hardcore military sci-fi

R.C, Bray is legendary in his delivery as always. Listening to the clip of the author talking about the book you can hear the deep respect and commitment to keeping the representation of Ranger culture real. This dominates the story-line with long passages based on current day Ranger culture, language & tactics. If you love that stuff as well as sc-fi you'll love this book (and series) as the backdrop story is classic sc-fi.

Brilliant listen for scifi/action

So for the second book in the series I was really looking forward to it. Reach and Brody with Alexa must be sending everybody listening out loud crazy by triggering their devices. really nice developments with the wildlife on the planet oc the commies!wondered how you were gonna deal with the entitled particles for quantum entanglement but you navigated that carefully as I’m sure all science listeners were thinking as soon as they heard that concept! I agree I think the bangora name is great. When u think about what a terrifying creature might be specially with their incredible hide. Still wondering when they might go off planet but hey I’m sure that’s in development for another day and curious about other avenues that opened up without too many spoilers. Of course the awesomeness of RCBray is known throughout the galaxy so please do not change the narrator unlike some other book series mid series. just a friendly advice/request/begging profusely. i found some of the architecture and locations hard to picture and follow along with the intricacies of ranger ingress and exfil. Maybe take a few lines to just provide some extra ways we can picture the scene, most are great, just the last two battles were a bit confusing.

Brilliant!

Everything you want in a book. Excellent storyline, superb characters with depth and detail. It has one of the best in my humble opinion, robot/Android characters ever put into a story. Intrigue and page turning excitement I can’t get enough of! Bring on
book 3!!

Br-Br-Brody has still got it!

Fact:

A Ch-Chuck No-No-Norris roundhouse kick was so p-p-powerful that Br-Br-Brody uses its energy centuries la-later through qu-quantum entanglement to p-p-power his battle suit b-body.

Absolutely fantastic!

More more more! What s brilliant series, the characters are so well defined with strong personalities and unique ones line Broody ,(fantastically funny dialogue - loved it!). I don't want to give anything away, but this is a must listen. RC Bray is fantastic as usual. The guy brings each character alive and infuses personality into them that I do not think any other narrator can.
The story has plenty of twists and turns and the accurate ranger and military speak adds to the picture the author and narrator are vividly painting in your mind.
A 100% must listen. Can not wait for the next installment!
