Summary

Romance, engagement and marriage.

The pure ecstasy of sex in the nineteen forties and the terror of warfare!

Holding onto tin helmets, obscured vision through suffocating gas masks, tumultuous clouds of debris tumbling through a convoluted, mid-night sky from above, the girls scampered from installation to installation, from shelter to shelter in an attempt to, time the speed and distance of descending shells with a futile delusion of child like imagination.
They would indeed make it to safety, eventually leading to a well earned rest come the break of daylight after having survived an outpost of complete and utter desolation miles from their vast Uxbridge headquarters as ordered by section officers to young women struggling through yet another night shift of special operations.

War Girl A Distant Void was great.

War Girl was superb entertainment bringing to life the plight of the War Girls of the South of England in a unique manner.

Simple Minds, Vera Lyn and 1930's Glen Miller provided a combined modern and older atmosphere to enrich a truly exciting and at times sad experience combined with erotic behaviour that only the younger generation can fully produce.

fantastic and highly recommended.
