About this listen
Annie is starting college. It's the start of a new adventure, and Annie's not going to let anyone or anything get in the way of that. She has cerebral palsy, and she's had to fight hard to get the world to see her for who she truly is. Then she meets Fab. He's six foot two, Polish and wildly drawn to her. As things go deeply wrong, Annie sets out to win his heart with a romantic gesture of truly epic proportions!
©2018 Jenny McLachlan (P)2018 W. F. Howes LtdIt's a coming of age story, that raises awareness of disability, strength and resilience, finding love, new beginnings, friendships, and wuthering heights.
Annie and Fab melted my heart! Just watching their friendship blossom into potentially something more was so special.
It was so amazing to finally read a book where even though the main character has Cerebral Palsy, she's strong, independent, and wasn't afraid to put people in their place. Especially when faced with adversity!
Being disabled myself it was so refreshing to see disabilities represented in a positive way, that we are allowed to love and be loved and be independent.
The narrator was really good, she bought the characters to life and kept me engaged the whole way through.
I highly recommend reading/listening to this amazing book. I only wish there was a second installment as I want more from Annie & Fab please!
