It was free
Narrator has a good Geordie accent but the story was weak. Can't complain too much as it was free.

Decent short story
Narrator has a lovely voice however sometimes it's hard to determine who is who. It's a fine short story

Engrossing.
Alice’s careful selection of words leads to a fine style of writing. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Good short story but slightly pointless?
I have to admit I was totally gripped throughout but it fizzled away when it just seemed like listening to a short episode of Midsummer Murder - slightly inconclusive and may have been better as an actual novel.

Over too quickly
Good plot and narration. Voice was well paced and diction clear. Will look out for more books read by this narrator. Only thing I didn't like was the swearing.

A new experience
Haven’t listened to a short story before and really loved it. This hooked me in from the start and there were a few spine tingling moments. Definitely recommended.
Going to try another Alice Clark-Platts book. The Geordie context and accents was an added bonus for this Gateshead lass!
