About this listen
The sinking of the Titanic on her maiden voyage in 1912 is one of the most dramatic stories in maritime history. The largest passenger steamship in the world, fitted with more advanced safety features than any of her rivals, she was proclaimed to be virtually unsinkable. Just how and why the Titanic foundered on such a beautiful April evening is the subject of this fascinating book. Author Rupert Matthews explores the evidence behind the stories of heroism and cowardice related by survivors, and investigates the many theories surrounding the great ship's tragic loss.

Titanic
A very enjoyable retelling of the fate of the Titanic. I'm sure there are other books out there that go into more technical detail about the sinking . This version obviously covers all the salient points, time, date, place and main characters but somehow seems to miss the drama of the terrible tragedy.

The titanic is syncing
Titanic by @HistoryRupert. A thoroughly well-researched and well-written piece of non-fiction on the sinking of the Titanic 🛳 in 1912. However, the descriptions of the passengers disembarking the ship after it hit the iceberg I found very confusing.
These moments were few and far between though. Due to the immense size of the Titanic, its attempt to break the speed record across the Atlantic for a steamer was its undoing - a point made very well in the novel. A worthy and recommended read 📚 4/5 ⭐ #bookreview

Credible Telling of Titanic
As far as I can discern this is an accurate retelling of credible Titanic history, no wacko theories or speculation. Nice length, well read. Recommended.

Detailed and informative
A detailed and un-hysterical documentary of the Titanic, which accounts clearly and engagingly not only the story of the sinking, but also the reasons that Titanic existed in the first place, and the events which happened afterwards. Thoroughly enjoyed.

A good factual account of the tragic disaster.
This is factual account of the disaster which befell the unsinkable Titanic. The story is very well narrated. If what you are looking for is an accurate account of what happened during the unfolding disaster and after, using actual witness accounts, then this should be the first audiobook you should reach for.! A thoroughly interesting and gripping read.
